Good is that you create a unique content and then, translate it by any translator software or experts. That will be reliable and comfortable for you.
 
Does translated content cause a duplicate content issue? No, a translation is not considered duplicate content by Google. Matt Cutts, head of the webspam team at Google, explains in a video that an English version of a text and a French version of a text are different, as they have been written with a specific target audience in mind.

Interesting article... However, it seem that an non English text translated to English with Google translator is still considered as duplicated content of i understand it correctly!

You can use the translated content and mix it with your own content. That should be one way to avoid Google’s hammer.
