UPDATE 11/08/2019

This is going to be a small update, I managed to write 2 900 word posts and post some more to my Instagram. The Instagram is at 250 followers and getting 30-40 likes and 3 comments per post. The Instagram has been bringing in 10 people each day and organic traffic brings in 4 people. I'm still ranking for the keywords so hopefully, that will bring in a lot more people, bing has been helping me out too. I only received 4 clicks on my amazon affiliate link and still no orders :(. I'll do a more in-depth update tomorrow but today I'm going to be busy so I'll probably only get one post done.

UPDATE 11/08/2019

Another small update today. I wrote 1 700 word post and didn't do any promoting. I only had 6 users on the site and 2 clicks on my affiliate link. I'll provide a proper update tomorrow. I'll probably write one or two posts today, depending on how much time I have, but keep in mind, I'm only doing this in the little spare time I have.

UPDATE 13/08/2019

Once again a small update, and sorry for not updating yesterday. I was busy as I stumbled upon an old website I owned, that I had forgotten about. It had 700+ posts with more than 800k words. Woah. It still gets around 200 people every day so I'll be working on that alongside site 2. On site 2, I received one click on my amazon affiliate link and 4 organic users.

Sorry for the complete blackout of updates, I'm going to be updating once every 3 days or so, as I am currently working on other things. I still don't have any orders so theres that.

Yes. Here content must be at least 3000 words lengthy. It includes comparison table and product reviews.

Note: do not mention the product's price on affiliate websites.

Is mentioning products price on affiliate website against TOS?

... WOW... thats an amazing stumbleupon. I was clearly up too late the first time I read this. Missed the significance. 800k words and 700 post ... 200 people a day. You found what I am working to get toward :)

Is mentioning products price on affiliate website against TOS?

Yes, Mentioning the product price on Amazon Affiliate website is Against TOS.

One more thing some affiliate site builder doesn't know,
Be careful while writing Pillar content for keywords like "Best laptop under 200",
You have to choose the products under 200 only and link to that lowest price products on Amazon.
Check the product price on amazon regularly.

If you link to $250 price products from "Best laptop under 200" Article, Amazon takes it as you cheating or fooling the buyer.

Essential things to succeed and earn $400 to $800 per month from one affiliate website:
1. One or two Low competition Buyer Intent keywords(800+ USA searches Minimum)
Why high search volume keywords?
Once you reach the top position, you will get at least 70% of visits(560 visits by 800 searches keyword), here 40% to 50% viewers move to purchase the products on Amazon). If $3 is your commission for $50+ Products, then 224Purchase*$3commission= $672(is your monthly earning).

If you target 2 keywords, then your earning is $1344 minimum.

Earning will be more if we target a high search volume.

It is possible for only low competition keywords. That's why we offer low competition keywords to our clients.

You can try with low competition keywords. Work hard initially.

UPDATE 20/08/2019

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been starting another journey and so my time is split between that and this. I realized that earnings in this journey will be slow as I need to build up my site and be more reputable to get higher rankings.

My Metrics for Site 2:
c4qPZrO

I've managed to get some good backlinks and grow a bit. The domain I bought was new and is only 14 days old! I thought it had been longer :). I've been getting some organic traffic and have been ranking for some keywords.

Keyword ranking:
4jnVyyS

It's nice to see that I am on the 1st page for some rankings. Hopefully, I start to see some more keywords ranking higher.

Google Analytics:

Now there has been a steady increase in users, but it has been fluctuating on some days. I've been mainly trying to target a United States audience as that is where my niche is most popular.

Audience Country:
PMAU8VL

It's great to see that most users are from the United States. However, you should take this chart with a grain of salt as half of these users were probably bots crawling the website.

Amazon Affiliate Stats:

Now in this past week, I've only received 10 clicks on my affiliate link, and still no orders. Luckily I managed to catch a link that was broken using @jamie3000 's tool which can be found at this thread. It comes with a free trial and you get a free do-follow backlink too. I would highly recommend trying it.

Thanks for reading, next update soon.

UPDATE 27/08/2019

Going to be doing weekly updates now. This week has seen me being accepted into Adsense, which is great. My current monetization method is not to just focus on amazon affiliate, as I am first hoping to reach 50 posts that are all informative, and then start product reviews. I currently have 8 Informative posts on the site which all contain 1000+ words and I have 3 product reviews which are 1500+ words. I have been managing the SEO and writing a couple of posts but I have now got a partner in the site that will be writing most of the posts. The nature of my website is that sales will be very hard to come by in the beginning, as all the items I review are expensive and so with a smaller audience there won't be any conversions.

Adsense Earnings (only was accepted yesterday):

I managed to get 2 clicks somehow, my CTR is currently at 3%.

I only received 7 clicks on my amazon this week, and no orders. I am currently just trying to pipe as much content as I can whilst also making enough to cover hosting fees and more. That's why I've stuck with adsense.

I've had 28 Users and have had 5 returning users, so it's great to see that some people are actively visiting the site. My Instagram is currently at 400 followers.

How and where do you place your ads? After every x paragraph? After a %?

There are three ads on every post. One before the first paragraph, one after 3 paragraphs and one at the end.

UPDATE 31/08/2019

Just a mid-week update for now. I've created a pinterest account yesterday and am currently at 1000 followers, but I guess that's not impressive when considering that it's pinterest. My instagram account is at 450 followers but barely anyone seems to be interested so I'll stop that for now as it takes up a bit too much time. Still 0 orders on my amazon affiliate link but google has been making me a few cents. More and more users have began to visit the site and thats great to see. My life is going to start getting busier in the coming weeks and so my updates probably won't be as common. I'm also working on another Journey so that also eats up some time.
