From Shopify trial to developer account

Hey together is it possible to change your shopify trial (trial already ended) to an shopify developer account so i have my 50 orders open? Or do i need to completly create a new store?

4. In the Store type section, select Development store.
5. In the Login information section, enter a name for your store and a password that you can use to log in. By default, the email associated with your Partner Dashboard is used as the username, but you can change that if you want.
6. Optional: Enable a developer preview by checking Create a non-transferrable store that uses a developer preview. Select a developer preview version from the drop-down list.
7. Optional: In the Store purpose section, select a reason why you're creating this development store.

I don't think this answers the question if i can transfer a normal store to a developer store ?

Duplicate your old store. Open a developper account. Add the duplicated store there.

Should i use an app for that or is there another way to duplicate and import your complete store?

What happens once you hit your sales limit with a development store?
Its supposed to be transferred to someone else right?
Do you need to transfer to a new email address and payment method, or is there an option to keep it yourself with the same details?

you have a limit of Sales that you can make with a Dev. Store. Otherwise there are no downside. So its Perfect to test different niches
