UPDATE 04/08/2019

The website was down for approximately 12 hours whilst I fixed some errors, so I only got to write 7 Posts. Link building is still happening and some traffic has been coming in as the main domain was used previously for the same niche.

Things Done:
- I have written 7 more posts for Site 1.
- Write on more facebook groups

Things to do:
- Write 40 more posts for the week
- Create social profiles
- Configure ads.

COSTS:

Earnings:

I received 30 clicks on my amazon affiliate link but no ordered items, will update tomorrow.

UPDATE 05/08/2019

I only wrote three posts yesterday, all 400+ words. I've started working on social profiles now and I'll see where that gets me, finally saw some clicks on my affiliate links so that's great to see, but still no orders hopefully, will see some more in the coming days.

Thanks, I've not been using any formulas but have instead been using resources available to everyone here on BHW, there are some posts which can really help.

Little Update

I'm going to start focusing on site 2 now, I have 25+ posts on site 1 and they should start gaining some traction soon. Site 2 is what I'm really passionate about so most of my effort will be into site 2.​

I wrote one 700+ word post today on Site 2. It indexed pretty quickly and I've started seeing organic traffic coming already. I'm hoping to make at least 2 posts today

I won't be providing any graphs as there is no data, I received 0 clicks on the amazon affiliate link but did get 4 organic visitors to the website, hoping to increase this to 20+ today.

I wrote 2 posts today, all upwards of 600 words. I still haven't started ranking for my main keywords but that is to be expected in the first days. I've barely done any link building on this site so that may be an issue. I have seen a lot more users in my analytics so that's nice to see.

I received 6 clicks on my amazon affiliate link, but 0 orders. I've started writing on more social platforms aside from facebook and that has drawn in a bit of user, but I'm still trying growing some of these profiles so I can be more trusted, I've started an Instagram account as I've been in that field for a long time and I know that that will draw in a lot of people.

UPDATE 08/08/2019

I wrote a 1300 word post today, and it got indexed really quickly, so that's nice to see. My amazon affiliate link started to get a lot more clicks but still 0 orders, but I think soon that orders will start rolling in. I'm really motivated today so I'm going to write 2 1000+ word posts. The Instagram account I started is at 100 followers and getting 20 likes per post currently, so that's also nice to see. Hopefully, we start getting orders soon, that would motivate me even more.

UPDATE 09/08/2019

I wrote a 1500 word post today, instead of two shorter ones. Not that many people visited the site today, I'm sure it was just an off day, but now its Friday and most people will be getting off work soon so they'll be wanting to read some of my posts . Still no orders on my amazon affiliate link , I'm still getting clicks, however. Instagram is at 150 followers and getting more and more interaction per post, I've only been selecting people interested in my niche, for targeted traffic.

I've been posting here once in a while and mostly been lurking, but I wanted to try my luck at Amazons Affiliate Program.

The way that I am getting visitors is through social media platforms, not my own website. I've currently had some posts on reddit get a lot of traction so that got me some hits, but Facebook has brought in the most currently. I'll be updating every day, todays update will be on the day prior, as I only get the full details at Midnight BST.

So I went directly to site to sign up under the account they randomly approved without asking.

Was the email directly from amazon? If you still have the email, could you possibly take a screenshot or copy and paste the sender address? They usually do approve instantly but there is a chance that there may be some scam going on.

Okay so please help explain my suspicion:
1) how'd they get the email
2) how'd they find the account
(Non are connected)
3) and why did my sign up get denied on the direct website - under the username they already confirmed ?
