Did you manage them without Cpanel or you bought a Cpanel license with them? I haven't used a VPS before, and I'm guessing it might not be easy to manage without Cpanel. The Cpanel license comes at an extra $16 a monthYou’re welcome buddy. If you need help with something or more informations let me know. Had over 50 dedicated/vps from OVH. They are cheap but support sucks. Anyway barely had to use their support so I didn’t care.
If your traffic is from Europe go with hetzner cloud the best when it comes to price/performance but the servers only available in 2 locations
(Germany & Finland) or go with Vultr their new servers (High Frequency Compute) are insanely fast and very cheap .
WPX hosting by a mile is the fastest hosting company.
I know site speed is a function of several factors, some of which have nothing to do with the host. However, I am sure some members here have tried one or two hosts and can recommend the fastest they've experienced. As for Google and Amazon clouds, can I host my simple Woocommerce site on it like a normal webhost? Sorry if my question is too noobish. If I don't ask like this, I won't learn. There is no such thing as fastest webhosting. Get a VPS or a cloud from google or amazon and manage it alone. Thats the fastest host uoubcan get![]()
Does Vultr have servers outside Europe? I live in Africa
Then my suggestion is to buy a vps install nginx on it, and your woocom store will run like a charm,Which is better for a Woocommerce site? Any informed preferences?
What did you check lolI checks them out, even had a chat with a support person. They have only WordPress hosting, and when I checked the speed of the sites on their customer review page, the stats were very poor. I used Google Speed Insights.
Some of the hosting suggestions posted earlier. What did you check lol
WPX hosting is the best out there when it comes to WordPress...what you said about them has got to be the ONLY negative review even though you blindly said thatSome of the hosting suggestions posted earlier.
Blindly? Lol. I suppose that's a blind assumption. I used Google PageSpeed Insights to test the first three sites on their customer review page and wasn't impressed with the results.WPX hosting is the best out there when it comes to WordPress...what you said about them has got to be the ONLY negative review even though you blindly said that![]()
Pageinsights means nothing dudeBlindly? Lol. I suppose that's a blind assumption. I used Google PageSpeed Insights to test the first three sites on their customer review page and wasn't impressed with the results.
I know webmasters generally disregard PageSpeed Insights data, but I noticed a correlation between their data and Gtmetrix data, at least for my sites; and somehow, I prefer PageI because it reports tends to be more critical, in a manner of speaking. Nevertheless, I'll do as you have suggested and see if there'll be any significant difference.Pagei means nothing dude
Try gtmetrix
