Fastest web host

webhosting with litespeed web server + lscache on ssd drive can improve website speed at maximum level. geniusmojo offer litespeed + lscache on their hosting plan. https://www.geniusmojo.com/web-hosting.html

Vultr VPS + Centminmod for CentOS or EasyEngine for Ubuntu.

Fastest webhost....

I not think that you will find a webhost where you get full page load on Desktop within 300-500 ms. never have seen this.

A fast full page load will be 1-1,5 seconds, 2 seconds is normal today and fast .

If I were I would test that myself using real account. As rule providers give access to the test account which is well-prepared for test. Maybe you can try various places and check as many as possible. qhoster.com, bluehost.com, kvchosting.net should be good variants to get started with.

Heck I will try this method today, to see if that will bring in significant site Speed, or make the full site load in one second;

Trial Litespeed server ( without their cache plugin)+ jetpack boost+ keycdn.

Maybe this will burst off the speed of a shared hosting wordpress site ?

I will try this and report back here

Sorry I was wrong with this idea, you can install Litespeed server only on vps but not can use it with shared Webhosting. When I want it I need the high plan in fast comet who costs $19,95 monthly billing.

Fast and affordable I'd recommend Hostinger or Siteground, I personally prefer Hostinger's Cloud Hosting as they respond pretty quickly to my inquiries, and never had any issues with them.

Now I tried install cloudflare and the free APo plugin.
Website loads fast within 1 second in front of my desktop.

page insights google scores are good.
here the screenshot is from keycdn page speed tool site, the performance test.

Can not say if this is ok ? I mean the TTFB could be lower , around 50% ?
But 600ms TTFB is fast load, it Is not bad.
I have in mind that when I was back on godaddy Deluxe Webhosting plan and the free trial on keycdn the TTFB was faster around 200-300ms, also 50% faster.

Without the APO plugin retest in keycdn performance test, the ttfb now is 100-150ms faster/ lower, so I deactivate the APO plugin.
Would quic cdn be faster? Or does it only works when you have weboset with lite speed server ?

Now I will test it with jetpack cdn + jetpack boost ( jp boost is enabled now) also remove for short time cloudflare nameserver to test it.
Or use cache everything in cloudflare that make a site more faster but could break sometimes the layout.

I wonder the low entry fast comet Webhosting plan could not be so bad?

Not have found an pay to golden without minimum fee, so I tried it now with cloudflare.

Have happy weekend people !

With jetpack cdn is enbled ttfb is 200ms slower (higher) , so I will dectivate jetpack cdn and use only jet pc boost+ cloudflare.

This is one of my Wordpress sites using rocket.net
it was custom built from ground up by me using GeneratePress theme only with ~22 or so plugins total.
I have the rocket team set up the cache from their end entirely.

This is another one with the same provider, but hosting location in Australia as opposed to the US (previous one)
This one is created using a wordpress theme, using some pagebuilder and mostly js/html/css

Good hosting providers is 100% possible without breaking your bank

Here second screen from keycdn performance test, without jetpack photon (removed jetpack plugin)
only with jetpack boost the ttfb speed I better now, except Australia.

With the cloudflare free APO plugin the ttfb is slower, I wonder...maybe I not have the right settings in APO or to only improve speed with the $5 month paid plan? Yes with keycdn ttfb speed was 40-50% faster (lower ttfb).

How can that be ?

xReminisce;

wow! That is really fast ttfb speed ! But rocket is out of my monthly budget and I struggle little bit that webhoster not have beautiful prebuilt themes like godaddy (as an example) when I was the 2 months on godaddy , I had a beautiful prebuilt theme named Perry, very easy to customize with Gutenberg and see what beautiful themes Wordpress.com has, the rest of Wordpress org and standard Gutenberg is really boring.
Absolute boring.

With your speed ttfb I think fast comet host Is not so fast......
Are there Webhosting providers in the $9-12monthly billing price range with this speed ? I think not......

don't really wanna put my site here but
i can guarantee it is fancy as fuck, think themes like those Blog & News Magazine themes in themeforest but written in gutenberg+GP
Godaddy is one of the worse things you ever can go for.
If you need prebuilt themes while not having too much css knowledge, check out Astra. You can design something amazing yet still fast and light.

As for webhosting providers in the $9-12 monthly billing price range,
I have said it before, webhosting is something you just cannot cheap out on.
But if that budget is already considering all those factors, if you know some sys-admin, I would recommend Digital Ocean or Linode. (Linode got a server upgrades no too long ago!!!)
Or vultr is decent too but the same with DO and lin, they have basically the exact same pricing.

Otherwise, for anything cheaper you are either gonna be falling back towards shared hosting, which promises you the world but there always drawbacks unless you find the right one. or you will be looking at less known hosts which, honestly can disappear along with all your information etc overnight. You never know !
@RoiBox is quite knowledge in the shared hosting scene, he might have a few good suggestions for you.

Made some tweaks in cloudflare purge cache but ttfb I swear the same.
When I enable the free cloudflare APO plugin makes it not better, more worse when enable preloaded.

So I think paying for this $5 month will not help increase speed. My ttfb speed is ok-ish but I not so happy today.
Fell like all the web hosts in the price range of $5-12 are have the same ttfb speed ...there Is not one hoster with an improved ttfb speed boost maybe exclude nexcess.

It's sad.

cloudnext uk looks good, their premium plan (managed Wordpress) used on Nginx server and have cdn.
greengeeks pro plan looks good (Wordpress hosting) have Litespeed and cdn include.

So when I look over my experience with Webhosting under $12-15 monthly billing you not will get Webhosting with fast ttfb speed, no matter if their server uses Nginx or Litespeed, I prefer more Nginx , I had 2 years before A2 Webhosting with Litespeed, I have in my mind that Litespeed only works well with their quic cdn, not with other cdn providers (I'm not sure) but with A2 I had project with a second domain , but in their Cpanel I was not able to make email work only with the domain I bought with A2, but not with the second add-on domain, a curious thing the live chat guide could not fix it, can not explain it more, have forgot it.

I like it when the webhosting provider offers first month for 50% off or like first month $1 this is ideal to test the water.

with my experience yesterday;

with Cloudflare CDN ttfb speed is a little bit better/ only a little bit.
Use additional APO plugin (cloudflare) ttfb speed is more worse (slower).

deactivate cloudflare and APO and use jetpack site accelerator = much more worse.
It looks like whatever I do, add cdn or cache plugin it makes things more worse.
How could that be ?

So now I have news for you for me it's a miracle I can not explain (I be not a technic server expert).

Enabled jetpack site accelerator + jetpack boost
enabled cloudflare again use standard settings, early hints, crawler hints, TLS 1.3, rocket loader off, minify html off

Now on my android phone I get super results on keycdn performance tool test see screenshot super!
But on my Desktop same keycdn performance tool shows slow ttfb speed like 530ms- 800ms
How can that be having two different results on android and Desktop? I use on my Desktop (2012 Mac mini) same wlan network: mobile hotspot 4 LTE

Here see android screenshot
second attach file is screenshot from desktop with same keycdn performance tool test

I hope someone here can explain me this huge difference? So with this I do not know which of them is accurate?maybe my desktop google is based on Germany, my android google search based on US search, maybe this will explain the difference?

Cloudnext are ok but not the best, I have been with them for some of my test sites for many years.
Just tried doing a PAA site there and it's as slow AF.

also I use same internet network and speed via my android mobile hotspot, is connected to my 2012 mac mini, so speed from the android network should be the same on desktop.

So why I get two different keycdn speed test results faster on my android, slower on my desktop when both use the same mobile network?

Maybe the phone shows website in mobile which uses less data usage so keycdn performance tool shows faster ttfb speed.

The desktop use the same mobile network via mobile hotspot but pages loads on desktop have more data usage, so ttfb speed is slower?

But on desktop my ttfb speed is too slow that means poor webhosting server I bought..

Last shot I have today is try setup cache everything rule on cloudflare with the free cloudflare cache plugin too for cache pages in wordpress, when this not helps, then the only solution will be buy a better webhosting who is more expensive with good reputation, to get fast ttfb speed not use low entry webhost.
