Who else thinks we need better market place mods or maybe better vetting for market place threads ? I am not against any Mod or person and I know they do check and the quality of service might differ but from my experience, I had horrible experience with not just one but multiple sales providers here and had to create shitlist too many times and still have some unresolved issues with some of the providers.

I bought Jefis method today and there were too many things which were not disclosed in either sales page or by the Mods, so it would have helped much better for many people to understand what we are getting into with the information provided (not method ofcourse but if we need multiple id verification's etc) . Such threads and experiences make me and others feel very unsure of all the sales providers here. I think there should be a clean up and more strict actions against sellers toying with people so that market place is clean and becomes more trust worthy.

Trying to clarify where you're seeing an issue the one and only Shit list you created was in October 2018 ref https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/no-response-or-update-from-keywordspot.1059959/ it would be great if you could provide specifics around the "multiple sales providers" you're seeing issues with.

And I quote; " sent PM along with the order screenshot, my issue is resolved with OP. you can close this thread. Thank you for the help "

@Diamond Damien that's for your reply. That is one shit list I have created, there are other sales providers which I had issues with like Zlatan, I haven't created separate shit list but commented on other members shit list. In both those cases, it was going no where and I didn't receive what I originally bought but had to take something else because the sellers no longer had the services I bought. I just picked them to get them sorted. Apart from those, there were some other issues like I bought a website from a seller and he is no longer on BHW and I don't even have the domain name, I keep messaging him daily on Skype but can't do much apart from that. I know this is out of your control and you can't do much in such cases but what I suggested was to take serious actions on people once they get into shit lists. Maybe next time they try open a new sales thread, the waiting period is more. Apart it, I bought service form Jefis today and there is no reply to my questions from the seller and there are many other buyers with same and I see the thread is no longer here so it worries me seeing such things. To be honest, I had a BHW mod messaging me(not taking any names here) and offering a service maybe 6 months back or so which I said ok to and no reply from him to my messages once he took my website and keyword to do SEO, if this happens from a mod, it gives a bad feeling. I mean, if you didn't want to do it, why message me and take my website in the first place ? For other SEO services I bought links they were toxic links so had to dis allow them. Along all these, there were some other sellers, who sold me a website and then after 15 days or so, sold same exact replicas to 3-4 more people and I had to warn them couple of times so that they dont do that. They were not even 30$ websites, it was more of a 3rt50 $ premium website service. Some other seller, made me wait for more than 120 days to start working on my website where the commitment was to deliver it fully in 30 days etc. I don't want to point to any single seller but on a whole, my experience was not good at all. Overall, I am member who wants a better BHW market place and I want to spend money but which would give me good results and something which I can trust on.

Marketplace mods can only do so much vetting. Eventually, it comes right down to your doing your own due diligence and acting upon any red flags you may see. It's not only up to the mods, my friend.

It was free SEO being offered.

Absolutely free.

Your KWs were not shared, just your URL.

I'll dig through my stuff and see what was done for you for free.

In my opinion, we need more action from members, not mods. Of course, sellers will do their best to impress the mods on the initial thread vetting, even a total scammer would do at least that. It's when people start allowing sellers to make bullshit excuses and not reporting it/leaving review that things get out of hand.

One thing I would like to see is the removal of thread bumping (especially with a whole fucking infographic that stretches down the whole page), "samples/discounts pls" and other unnecessary talk in sales threads. Sometimes it takes 5 pages to find one review with all that crap burying it.

I understand that but what I am saying is, in case some seller leaves BHW or something like that, maybe BHW can hold some money upfront (just a suggestion) so that if there are any buyer who still had to get something from the seller, BHW can help them as the sellers wont be here anymore. Please use this thread to discuss as how we can better market place, as I said, I don't have anything against any mod or seller or BHW. I come here daily to learn and IM journeys help me a lot so if you feel this thread is not worth it, please go ahead and delete. I didn't mean it as offense to any one.
@BassTrackerBoats I didn't take your name and quoted it as only example so no offence meant to you and I didn't even say I paid you. You messaged me offering something and you never replied to my message later, I don't have any problem if you didn't provide anything but you could have the courtesy to reply back my friend is all I am saying. BTW, I was getting SEO service from zlatan because of shit list as you offered on his instead, he asked me to take yours which I never received ofcourse.

End of it, I opened this thread to have suggestions and proposals on how market place could be better, not to get into argument with anyone, so if you felt other wise, I apologize, just had it enough seeing more and more bad sellers here and wanted to start a discussion. Thank you all for helping me out at various time periods.

I'm not offended and had to dig though a bunch of stuff to see who the staff member was and it is me. I own up to my errors and omissions usually and this is one of those times.

A nudge via PM would have been better back in Feb when I offered the free SEO though. I get a silly amount of PMs and miss some at times and if I am giving something for free I like to follow through but do fail to do so at times.

Please send me a new PM and I'll make sure you get the freebie I offered.

Yes, that's what happens lately and people tend to complain for free stuff and things provided for a good reason and without a bad intention.
A lot of people trying to take advantage, this is normal for such a huge community.

The rules as we have them now are much better. If they hold money, imagine how much chargebacks would there be for them from scammers. In these cases big companies are forced to issue a refund to the buyer even if the buyer is not right and this ends up having the marketplace reputation ruined. Isn't it enough they have high moderation and strict rules, admins checking for quality and revising quality from time to time? :)

However i think things are okay and working well and as @PHPInjected mentioned "it comes right down to your doing your own due diligence and acting upon any red flags you may see".

This can go wrong in several ways. Say BHW holds $100 for that scenario and a shady seller takes money from multiple people. How would one decide which money goes where?

While your compassion is appreciated, I feel like that would make jobs harder on the mods.

You're an awesome MOD. :D

During the vetting process, us marketplace moderators need to balance making sellers happy and making buyers happy. For example, if we make the review process too stringent, we tend to have forum feedback threads (or PMs) from sellers complaining about their review taking too long, the marketplace moderators "picking on them/having an agenda", etc. If we make it too lenient, buyers like yourself tend to complain about us not leaving detailed-enough reviews. Both types of complaints actually slow down the number of review threads we can handle each week because we need to shift our attention to look into and address the complaints.

Some users have stated that sellers are going to do their best to get a good review and get an approval, but something you should note is that an approval just means that the seller is offering what they're selling, and that's exactly what some of them aim for. However, the ones who go above and beyond what they're expected to do get that acknowledged in the mod reviews (and no, I don't mean they over-deliver; I explicitly tell sellers not to do this during the review as I toss under the same category as brown-nosing).

For reference, some marketplace moderators will post a plain review which suggests that the service they received versus what was advertised was "just as advertised". If you're looking for an exemplary service, try to read between the lines or understand the tone of the reviews. If it happens to be one of my reviews, try looking at the colour of the review titles (more information under the information tab "My BST reviews - A Tip For Buyers" on my profile). Hopefully knowing this will help you select a service provider that will suit your needs better.

hows the new admin couch ? comfy ?

In my opinion the initial vetting is OK. I follow the marketplace and there is rarely case when a kinda shady shits are allowed (like this crypto thingy from the other day).

However the control over time is where there are problems. Sellers UP-ing their BSTs with fake accounts on daily basis, providing terrible quality services, feeding the clients with excuses and whatnot.
