Who's In Arizona?

I'm in AZ, too. I'd love coffee, too. Or, at phone conference since I'm stuck in the boonies of AZ right now. This is the worst place to live without a car - I miss living in DC.

Anyway a local mastermind group would be awesome.

I agree I will drive all the way to the buckeye twice a month (which is 60 miles car pool anyone?) just to get a good solid community together. Or could we meet in the middle? Lets do this before thanksgiving, it would be an excellent pre new year goal.

Define boonies? Far West Avenues... or are you a Queen Creeker... perhaps a Surpriser?

:p

Mesa and Scottsdale... beers or coffee next week. Those that are serious message me. I know Celsius is, who else?

I lived in AZ about 5 years or so ago. It was hot as hell man and I'm from Texas. And ya'll are scary. It is hot, but you don't relaly know how hot. I walked from my friend's apartment to my car [which parked in visitor's parking, was a little way's down, but not waaaaaaaaaaaaay down], looked for something in my car, went back to my friend's place all barefoot and got freaking blisterd up like the dickens. I would never go back to AZ to live. But was great for hiking. beautiful.

I live near DC now. Can't wait to leave. =] DC is way too busy/crowded/loud. And I get lost easily. Thank god for gps!

I'm past Queen Creek in Casa Grande. I hate it!

I feel the same way about. It is busy/crowded and loud, but at least you go get almost anywhere in the city and surrounding parts without a car. Even if it meant sitting beside a drunk, smelly hobo or something.

Its crazy hot here, but the winters are fall/winters are NICE. I hate snow with a passion (I don't really like being cold) But, if I could find somewhere to live with fall/winters similar to AZ and mild spring/summers I would be set. With the baby coming I have a whole host of other requirements, but that's just for me personally.

/offtopic.

Sorry about that. I get distracted way too easy.

OK village inn or dennys or someplace we can all talk shop and not have people be been too nosey. The dennys at germann and gilbert is the dead zone after 8 pm or if someone can suggest someplace closer but not too crowded. I like to listen to the people I'm meeting and not worry about the nose level. I will buy the coffee, so I'm down for 20 dollars just to have pleasure of your company.

I am definitely serious about meeting, I am PM'ing jonesersRX7, are you going to be the designated planner then?? Count me in.

I'll be the contact person for all of this I don't mind. It only helps all of us.

Okay,

so we have a time and date to meet, but we are still deciding on the actual place. We are meeting a week from today, next Tuesday at 7:00 PM, somewhere around Elliot and the I-10. We were thinking maybe to meet at a coffee house, but I have had others suggesting it may be better to meet somewhere like Dos Gringos..... so let me know what you think. This area was chosen because it was most central to where everyone lives. I hope that you can all come out!

PM me or JonesersRX7 for more information.

Ok all of you Phoenix Peeps I have something for you to do Friday night. http://www.tedxphoenix.com/ its $5.00 and it will open your mind to new ideas. I'll be there and then I the weekend after that I will be at http://podcampaz.org/ I went last year and learned a few things.

I have my tickets for both events so if you are going to go let me know and we can meet up.

If anyone wants to PM me that would be cool but I believe they sell coffee at Joe's if you so desire a cup of it. I'm going for the meetup factor and to listen to people.

Celcius,

how late does this pod cast thing go for? And how much does it cost, I cannot find that info on the website.

thanks,

Jaclyn

Yes Celsius reserve the table for 10, I would say, we can always expand, I don't think it will be too busy in that area on a Tuesday night.

Is anyone else going to come, I know we have me, Clesius, and JonesersRX7 confirmed. Let us know if you can make it! It's gonna be fun, I have a handful of others people in the industry coming as well.

I hope to see you there!!

ciao

I found that Joe's CrabShack on I10 and Baseline would be the best place to meet there are good tables, good beer, good food and with a little luck good company.
