I didn't eat this week...

go to asia, you are an american you can live like a king here just by teaching english.

lol first off I should have read your occupation before suggesting you get rid of it anyway. I was in the same situation just a few years ago. Purchased a brand new truck, fell behind and the interest was as much as the monthly payment so figured it was time to let them have it back. No point going forward just making a car company money, keep it for as long as you can and let them reposes it. At least it's not costing you anything if you are not paying for it lol, well other than your credit score. I dont know what repossession and repayment laws are where you are located but dont let it worry you too much, these things happen.
I will file bankruptcy next month, you can imagine a lil bit my financial trouble. I must learn how to manage finances, won't fail next time.

So sorry to hear this Op, I really hope you get your finances sorted soon, wish I could help, Is there a budgeting service in your area? You said you can file for bankruptcy I hope things turn around for you soon

i didnt eat for week too OP but rather out of choice to lose weight

I got a part-time job but today was my first check. I've been living with enough money for gas and rent a room. I can't buy food, I have been eating the left over of co-workers in the break room (trash can) and the occasionally birthday cake/cookies/donuts, that the manager brings...

Today first time I bought food and a beer, I'm happy, I feel proud of myself.

I am a good boye. :)
It is a double edged sword. Chicago school economics brought us globalisation, financialisation and, [ahem} free markets. The very same thing that trods upon us and makes us hungry. Feed your hunger. Best of luck from a newbie.

Hey, OP. I know the struggle. I also know that a lot of people in your daily life don't know it. God bless BHW though, a lot of us here know a lot of different things.
If you feel you are gonna fall back into a difficult situation at some point, consult the people here. I'm no expert by any definition, even a broad one, but I'm sure there are ways to make a reasonable amount of money to perhaps fix your car or stock up on food that you could put into practice if you have time. You know, they gave this brilliant name of the 'oldest profession in the world' to something completely unfounded and vulgar. I like to tell people the ACTUAL oldest profession is trade. Maybe on the side you can resell some products on classified ads in your area, or even resell services from the marketplace to people in your surroundings. I live in a swamp compared to CA so I wouldn't know how easy or hard that is, but give it consideration if you haven't. If you can patch up your car that could open up better work possibilities. Again, you know your situation best, but that's what most people I've interacted with told me they've done when things got tough for them.
Good luck!
