There are about half a + million views per month on my pinterest account.
How can I monetize my account?
Who can tell the right strategy or give hints. Account niche - survival, decor.

I promoted various products from ClickBank but they are poorly convertible.

My proof:

Affiliate links could be good. Do you have a blog (or two) in similar niches?

Adsense is by far the best income earner for Pinterest traffic....

i tried many affiliate but there is no good options for pinterest traffic.

1.5 million average monthly viewers on Pinterest = at best 15,000 website visitors a month assuming a 1% CTR....MANY niches don't even get as much as that.

Thats pretty bad IMO. I have not more than 500k average monthly viewers on some accounts but getting at least 2k clicks per day to a single domain. Pinterest Analytics is useless. You need pins with a high CTR if you want to make money. I give a shi* about Viewers and Impressions. Same with rankings.

Blog with Adsense is fine, if you can get a lot of clicks out of the traffic coming from Pinterest.

I was making a shitload with Pinterest and shopstylecollective back in the day as they have paid for clicks, not for conversions. They have closed the CPC program... and i really wonder why! :D

Today, without a website it's much harder to make money with Pinterest. You can try affiliate links and hope to get some conversions, but don't expect too much.

This amount of traffic is very low
Is there a way to attract more traffic from Pinterest or increase CTR?

Is your CTR 12% monthly?

Hi Guys,

Can you please recommend me how many follow per hour and day is safe?

Trust me, you are the exception, rather than the rule....some niches may have improved CTR's, it also of course depends on the quality of your Pins, but across a broad range of niches very little get's more than 1%....

Thanks for the exception. :)
It's all about the quality of your Pins. I have for example a lot of old pins with top rankings in the Fashion niche. These pins have 10k+ repins and tons of impressions but a very low CTR. There is just no reason for people to click on these pins.

So go for high quality CTR optimized pins. This works very well, if you know what you are doing.

This lady is not too bad:

How much do you make from Adsense with Pinterest?

I use it for ecommerce now. I have about 2+million monthly views and about 10k-12k monthly visits to my web(ecommerce store). I get about 15 sales a month. The profit is about $500-$600.

So if I would have 1% ctr and $0.5 per ad click I would get only $50-$60? :)
Or my calculations are incorrect?

So your ecom store has 0.15% conversion rate? Do you not think it's waaaaay to low? Or the traffic is not targeted.

Yes, my conversion rate is very low. It is better for Instagram and let say good for search engines traffic. As I have only +/-100 products on my store I post random photos more or less related to my products. So the user who visits my store from Pinterest does not get what he expected but he sees similar products (lets say more or less targeted traffic).

The other thing is that my prices are high. I sell with 200%-300% profit margin rate

Did you not try to post your product images? Like for example fashion niche, if you upload items to your store from aliexpress most of the pictures on aliexpress are decent looking with models and stuff so you can just pin these images. Have you not tried that?

Yes sure, I also post my photos too. But my photos is less than 5% of all photos.

With ads you can expect something around $5-$20 per 1k visits. So you are doing pretty well i would say.

If i would be you, i would try to run Pinterest and/or Facebook ads. Your RPM is at around $50 with low targeted traffic, so you should do even better with targeting. Pinterest ads are a bit more expansive, but they will bring you also organic traffic other the time and grow your account as well. With CPC ads you only pay for clicks, so all impressions and repins are for "free".

But create for that the best pins you can or hire someone. Do not promote low quality images...

How long does it take to build a Pinterest Profile organically + ads? Does automation still work for Pinterest?

I have tried Facebook ads with retargeting (I have 1000-1500 daily visits, many add to carts, abandoned carts) but no success. I have tried to retarget that people who made some actions towards buying a product.
For me it is difficult to see how my money melts and there are no results :)
