I used to arb Overture for years many moons ago which was super lucrative, I recently tried FB ads again which is actually supremely difficult, gallery style posts tend to get a landing page slap whereas with single posts you are hoping to find engaging image with the right targeting and content. On this I find mixed results. My best with layered targets and a lookalike audience. Run this then identify the working breakdown... but it is a lot of work and testing for inconsistent results, btw I am just Adsense/native combo on my landers.
I follow up with email and messenger blasts but its very hard to make revenue scale past say $100 a day. When I stop ads I use my organic assets like my FB groups but these also have a revenue limit thats hard to push past.
Almost certainly I am not using the best combo of monetisation and traffic source, going native is bot central and when I tried that ( Taboola ) I had issues with arb landers. I'd say the biggest art of all is actually finding that winning combo of traffic source and monetisation that allows you to test and eventually make money without the risk of big slaps. I haven't tried cpm networks or any other type as yet, those I looked at have long drawn out approvals and long payment windows, neither of which is arb friendly.
