Should I trust These emails?

hey Blackhatters,
so I have a page on instagram with an email for inquiries etc.. and I got like 3 shops asking me to affiliate with them and to promote their products while I get 30% of the money , what I noticed is these emails are very similair and have the same way of approaching you , because they give the same arguments on why you shouldnt have a fixed price etc.. should I trust them and sign up to their programs?

Idk about u but if I was in your shoes I tell em I need payment in advance to post their shit + a percentage per sell.

No, I wouldn't trust that. You will probably do advertising for them and they will never ever pay you. Save yourself lots of energy and time and don't consider that.
Its probably some children, not having enough money for influencer or paid ads and now trying to do it the free way.

Be cautious when proceeding. Ask about their store, their products etc etc and see if they are legit or not. Assume the worst, prepare for fake businesses but no harm in testing it out.

Give it a try, sometimes they are not scam. Just a shitty store with no traffic which might result in zero sales from your followers.

same here i discovered that they just drop shippers offering a product (+70%profite) and says that you pay only 30% while it's the original place
this is the new way of increasing sales they target influencers so they got shoutout + sales almost for free

I would offer an advertising placement for a high fee.

$800 per month

3 months money up front.

$2400 deposit

that nothink for advertising

selling shoutout not as profitable as a advert space .

shoutouts can be hard to sell and the comp makes it hard to get any real money so many at it!

can also work the other way, 1 shoutout might gain them all your followers emails and earn a fortune , and you end up taking a low fee for the shoutout.

They all likely read the same "guide" on how to get affiliates for their ecommerce site with templates provided by the tutor ... that's why they all probably sound alike.

I would ask for more details but certainly would prefer upfront payment for shoutout.

In the affiliate world, you won't get any money in advance, unless you are an industry leading influencer.

It doesn't matter if all 3 emails are the same.

What you could do:

• Check if their affiliate program is developed in house or if they use a 3rd party service (in house meaning that when you login to your affiliate dashboard you stay on their website and all affiliate data is stored there. A third party is when the seller uses a service like paddle, which stores affiliate data and is more transparent).
• Start a test pilot campaign - promote their service for a few days, see if you can get any sales.
• If your relationship with them doesn't work, just stop the campaign.

Alternatively, you can either ask them money or simply create an Amazon affiliates website.
