I was hoping to go on holiday with my university friends, but one of them always cancels plans last minute and he has done it again this year, so I think I might fall into a depression if I keep living in this deserted place for the entirety of summer.

What about you guys? Anyone here going on holiday?

I am going on the end of August on Turkey. Hope to be nice over there.

Hey

I was on a holiday recently. 2 Weeks in Egypt.
Let me tell you that i had the same feeling as you. Thought that i couldn't take a break because there is work that has to be done, or a client that has to be taken care of.
I did go anyways. I'd rather enjoy my life rather than work 15 hours a day for 3 - 5 years and fall into a depression. You should definetely go on a vacation! If your friend cancels on you, then go take another friend with you, or go by yourself.

If you have stuff that you have to do beforehand, then plan it out before you leave and go on vacation. Got a client to take care of? Hire a Freelancer and let the Freelancer take care of it, while you are gone and enjoying yourself!

Also, you can check out my thread on this, before i went to Egypt i was going through almost the same feelings as you right now : https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...can-you-really-relax-your-experience.1121535/

Have fun on your vacation, where do you want to go?

Just move to Primrose Lane and life will be a holiday!

Nice song, I like it.

I would wanna go anywhere. Preferably with a beach of course :)

If I go with a friend and no one else, they will most likely say no. We're 18, and I'd rather go with 1+ person too, but yeah for sure.

If I go on my own, I'll probably just feel really lonely and not enjoy it that much.

Just read the thread, thanks for the advice though! I think I might look for a festival job or something similar, that way I get to travel abroad.

So find new friends
Or find a girlfriend

Me and my family go on holidays about 2-3 times a year ... I try to do once a month at least for a weekend getaway ... haven't failed yet :D

I think travelling is good for your body, sould and mind and just getaway from the daily routine and stuff ...

I'm going once per month somewhere with my partner. Living in Europe has some perks in terms of variety of places.

This 12 months my travel for vacation is;

Did Singapore and Thailand in January.
March we were in Miami and Florida where we were privileged to meet @BassTrackerBoats and his lovely wife ( https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dinner-with-misterf-and-mrsf.1100945/ ) while across the pond.

I'm going back to Dubai in December then Oman ( to Muscat ).

Feb/March I'm off to Switzerland then India ( Mumbai ) then onto Goa.

It's 28 degrees and sunny here in Spain, so I get plenty of sun and I don't do snow/ skiing, so we don't go on vacation as such in the warm months out here, there's no need.

You travel more than a basketball player who doesn't dribble when he has the ball and you do it in style and at a price point we all would love.

In the past three months we have gone to Raleigh, New Orleans, Seattle, Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, and back to the Appalachians. In the coming 12 months, plans include New York City, Boston, Miami, Charleston, Chicago, and Portugal. I love exploring new cities, but I'm not a fan of connecting flights or forgetting to dial down the workload before leaving.

We did a road trip last year; Atlanta, Lynchburg ( Tn ), Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans was about 1200 miles but loved it.
