Need help for website SEO of same content but 2 websites

Hi, I have one .com domain and one .in domain

The content, images and contact information is almost same. Will that create issue for ranking my site in future?
Can anyone guide me with it?

Will it create a problem? Yes, it will. Google will index one of the website content first and the second one will count as duplicate and act according to it.

Which one will rank better? Ranking depends on many facts. The one will be marked as a duplicate will surely do nothing in SERP.

The design will not create any difference. You need to 301 one website to others or change the content completely. Why you are running two websites on the same topic?

Keep the. Com site. Move all of your different content from the .in into a silo on the .Com

Then 301 your .in

Same kws + same content = same SERPS position. Except you lose all the time and effort of maintaining the site that gets penalized for duplicate.

Knowing Google, they will penalize the site that would have ranked better. Make that choice before they do.

I had no plans to create 2 websites. I created the .com site first and showed it to my family & friends. Some said it's good and some said it's too bad, ugly etc.
So I thought deleting the whole design won't make sense and I purchased another domain that's .IN. Now I am not able to decide on which site I should put efforts to rank.

First of all, it's up to you to decide what's good... if you like it and it's not too bloaty and slow, then is all good isn't it?

Personal opinion, efforts for .com

Change the theme etc. If you want to. It's no harder to copy and paste all of the html onto documents to re upload onto the same domain than it is to make a new site
