errr no, i got monetised on one of my channels ONE DAY after applying
@lehyy @Kidades Did anyone have idea how long YT taking for approval of monetization request after receving "Your application to the YouTube Partner Program is being held for additional review" mail. I applied month ago and within 5 days after submission, I got mail from YT saying "Your account help for additional review" and no response till now. Did anyone have an idea on this?
My channel is related to the same like news reading and 100% genuine with no copyright material. I uploaded 80 videos so far and eagerly waiting for monetization. My channel is 2 months old.

I'm assuming never. The "additional review" is probably a limbo, a shadow ban for botted channels or those that shouldn't get monetized for some reason.
I have over 30 of them stuck in that, for almost 3 months.
But i didn't done any blackhat techniques to my channel, I had 1300 subscribers and 9000 hours watch time in a month with pure organic.
Did you receive the same "Your application to the YouTube Partner Program is being held for additional review" mail from YT?

I've never had 'additional review' comment. Its either they reject me or approve me, which suits fine, at least you know where you stand then. If they reject you, it will depend on why. If its reused content, you have to remove every content that you copied from somewhere, yea its hard. Some channels with over 2000videos removed all remaining just 3 videos because they were demonetised for reused contents, same for 'repetitive'. Youtube is not straightforward with regards to what exactly and which videos and they wont tell you. But repetitive can be using same video titles, similar, description, some thumbnails etc. Its really vast. A very popular channel with over 2m subs removed all his videos because he was demonetised for 'repetitive' contents, and only had about 5 videos left. It sucks.
Additional review doesnt necesaarily mean they will never approve you. Maybe they just dont see why they should approve you YET....
so it wll be up to you to make changes, create quality contents, use your voice or some voice, dont upload same contents over and over ect. Then write them again and again to remind them that your channel is still pending review.

I hired news reader we shoot and uploading it is not english news is my native language

How frequently you are uploading videos to your channel? I'm uploading daily one video.
