Channel created 5 days ago. Monetization enabled !!

This is not an official TV news YT channel, this actually looks like an agregator of news from several TV stations in Romania.
As far as i see, they just record the news, and edit in smaller chunks.
I guess this is not against TOS, ?....Also, they don`t even seem to care about SEO on these clips, no titles and just simple out of content thumbnails....All the titles are "Todays news from "name of the tv station" at " date" ...

That`s a lot of free interesting content if you ask me.

This is not right. You would have to be the content creator. I am sure it depends on the Country ant its rules, you are based at.

Found this real quick:
"You cannot use photographs protected under copyright for reporting current events without obtaining the permission of the respective copyright owner. The exception applies to use of all other types of copyright materials, but not photographs. "

Really? News videos aren't copyrighted? I'm pretty sure they would be owned by the channel hosting the news channel. How the hell they are able to upload copyrighted content and get approved let alone in 5 days???!!!

Lol how is it an official channel of some Romanian tv channel when you click on the "About" tab it says that the Youtube channel owner is from the United States?
 
I was part of a MCN, as a manager, and we can create channels directly from our CMS (content manager software) that are automatically monetized on creation.

Sadly this technique doesn't work. When you leave a MCN, you have to re-apply for monetization.

Which MCN's are good? Also do you have a list of all the MCN's for Youtube?
 
Guys, let's keep this thread alive and brainstorm how did he/she get the monetisation enabled that fast.

I'm romanian and the channel is clearly not an official one. As someone else said, it's an aggregator of the mainstream romanian tv stations, and no, you are not free to use the news content. The tv station is the owner of the content and you need approval, like with almost any other content.

This is a very, very curios case.
 
Where Im from, im sure free to air news can be reposted, not usually copyrighted. Cause its 'free to air', not talking about exclusive programs or exclusive interviews.
Whoever owns that channel is part of an MCN, there's no way he got approved for monetisation that quickly, especially for uploading someone else's video contents...nope! Its got to be an MCN
 
He created his own MCN for about $ 15,000. In Vietnam The good people about youtube they did. They can be deleted MCN at any time. But they can earn more money so before youtube finds out.
 
How do you tell they are monetized as opposed to every single video being copyrighted and having ads run on them?
 
It's not MCN related... i just did it... take some news and share it in social media...

We are anonymous, we are hackers, we are youtube verified LMAO, wtf you guys believe in?

I only clicked to visit the channel, and 99% the channel belongs to some local RO newspaper portal.

So they just post videos embed to their portal and gather views. Simple as that.

How they monetized so quickly? Because they reached criteria, damn.

The review process takes 1 month,not 5 days.

Not necessarily.
Mine got monetized in 3 days after reaching the requirements. And this was a week ago.

Reviews take 3-7 days lately for most channels.
