I've been having a rough time trying to get people to read my blog posts. I know that there are still people who would rather read an article than watch a video, but I bet videos are more popular to most consumers in their 20's and 30's.
So my question is: who has tried both vlogging (using Youtube as a platform) vs traditional blogging (such as Wordpress)? And what kind of results did you get?
I will start experimenting with both, as a lot of my written articles could be easily re-hashed into 5-10 minute videos. My thought is that I will get more traffic, leading to better advertising revenue, affiliate marketing, product sales, etc. Youtube SEO is more simple than traditional SEO from what I've seen and read.
