it varies niche to niche, sourced authority and competition. sometimes weekly 2-3 links are good if the competition is low and the source has high DA / PA.

There is no exact recipe. I would say quality over quantity.

You may work on any number of quality links per day. Either you will not get all the link backs or Google will not index all the backlinks on a given day. However, if you try to spam, Google will certainly penalize.
As long as the links from a quality site, you can generate any number of backlinks per day.

For established sites you could build 1000 links in a day. For new sites limit yourself to a few and make sure they look natural.

5 x Sb
5 x Directory submission
5 x Classified Submission.
