I'm growing an IG acc at the verge of 6k followers. I used the right hashtags and this happened!

Maybe IG is changing its algorithm like LinkedIn did. There, now everyone can get near equal opportunity if their content's good (enough). I'm talking from personal experience, I'm watching these nobodies with literally no special amount of followers get tens, hundreds and even thousands of likes on their posts. And it kinda sucks, at least for the big guys like us, who worked on their followings. For ordinary users, it's perfect. You register and you can get the attention you want/need, if you are interesting enough.

There are no "golden hashtags" that work 100% for everyone in every situation.
They are a combination of right hashtags related to your niche!


Hashtags can growth your account like crazy or do nothing. It's how you use them that makes a difference
I really believe in the power of hashtags, they are one of my main strategies to grow on Instagram.

That's very good! Congrats.
One thing that I do to possibly increase my likes is to add and remove the hashtags every few minutes or so.
That way when I re-add the hashtag it always pops back on top of the queue.

Checkout iglytics they provide you list of top hashtags that are working for your competition or similar accounts. I can't remember if it's a .com or .co but i believe it's a .com they have a comparision tool, I think... used them some time ago

This is just the power of a hashtag.
Many ig users don't focus on this and just post with a random hashtag.
