Hello,

What's the cost of an additional licence if anyone wants to use Scrapebox on a local machine and on a VPS?

Thanks

Hi @loopline, I had bought the Scrapebox 2 years back. Couldn't use due to some issues.
I want to use now and ready to buy the Bundle of 7 Plugins. Is there any discount like Scrapebox?
Please send me if there any! Thanks

@loopline is Scrapebox able to do this?

1. Get keywords from Keyword Scrapper.
2. Search them on Google and for all results on the first page of Google SERP, get the DA / PA of the websites?

I am trying to do this to get a sense of the keyword competition? If not, what good ways are there to search for KW competition using scrapebox?

Thank you!

Sure, you could do this with the

keyword scraper >> harvester >> page authority addon. Also the automator should do this.

But you can also try out the google competition finder, which is an addon in scrapebox.

Its a million dollars for an additional license, payable in no refundable bitcoin or wire transfer or you can hand deliver un marked bills to the drop off point.... hehe :D

Just kidding of course.

Its $55 for an additional license and do NOT send the money to me, you need to pay scrapebox.

You must also purchase it from the same email as the initial license and then further if you have any plugins purchased on the 1st license you will get those same plugins free for the 2nd license.

You can contact support for the payment details

The plugin bundle is already discounted, there is no additional discounts.

So its like this

Scrapebox if you find it on the web you pay full price.

If you find it via black hat world you get the black hat world discounted price

For plugins there is no discount on single plugins

There are 2 bundles on the site and they are already discounted and that discount is available to everyone and there are no additional discounts on plugins except the bundle discount.

Ill pass to support.

Anything back on the social checker addon? I also notice it's messed up with premium expired domain finder plugin too. Social addon comes back error 426 or error 308.

Also, the premium automatic plugin has an issue. When I load a new proxy source and I don't want it to append to the proxy list, but it appends the proxies anyway and I end up with too many proxies in scrapebox.

Please fix the add proxy file in Automator to NOT append proxies.

Ill check.

does DomDetailer works for SB?

Yes, the metrics checker plugin and the expired domain finder plugin work with dom detailer.

The page authority addon does not work with dom detailer, but you wouldn't want it to, you can just use a free moz account.

It has an option when exporting to append or not. If you do not check the box to append, then it will just overwrite the existing file. Your talking about exporting proxies to file yes?

No, I'm talking about importing proxies into scrapebox. There is an option to append or not there too, and when I select no to append it does it anyway.

Pain in the butt to work around with other tools.

Ill look into it and get with support if need be.

Hi scrapebox, where can I find tutorial for PRStorm Mode?

Well the original PR STorm mode video aka ping mode is here:

HOWEVER most analytics these days discard and ignore this type of traffic so its of little to no value from the standpoint of what prstorm was meant to do.

That said, there is a browser based ping mode that does not get ignored (that doesn't mean they may not ignore traffic, like if its a huge source, like something with youtube for example, it may ignore known public proxies etc... but that is of course beyond the control of scrapebox and you just need ips that are not ignored, probably some rotating/back connect proxies would be good for this.

So here is browser based ping mode

and here is back connect proxies:

OK thanks! I am wondering about the social checker plugin, I really need this and I'm assuming it's not working anymore because of the API changes going on. I've been doing research on how to code my own little bot to do this but it looks more daunting than expected. The APIs are getting more strict to get etc.

It is also affecting the Expired Domain Finder plugin I bought. It only brings back wayback machine data now.

To be honest, and this is just my opinion, Im not sure anything can be done.

Google+ is defunct of course.

FB requires Oauth with no way to really get the data publicly any longer.

Pinterest made changes and it no longer works and Im not sure there is a way to do anything there now either.

So these sources may have killed off the addon entirely at this point.

Can someone explain to me what the definition of a "successful" entry is when it comes to Fast Poster?

According to the results, I have 6 successful post. However, after extracting out the results and visiting each of them, my comments are nowhere to be seen.

For example, one successful post listed this blog: http://blog.enyaholsters.be/post/2009/04/16/Januari-2008-bij-mama-thuis

The latest post was from 2018...

Thanks.

Copy and paste straight from scrapebox support:

"Successful posting is often confused with live link rate. When a link is submitted, it just means it was successfully submitted. Most of the time it will then go to a moderator and must be approved before it goes live. Live links are when the link is publicly viewable on the end site by everyone including search engines. If you post and then check links, the only ones that are going to immediately show up is auto approve links.

If you are posting in a browser and seeing it show immediately, its just showing up based on your session. So the site shows it so that you can see it went thru and you don't keep posting the came comment over and over. However if you veiw the site from another machine or even in another browser on the same machine, the comment will not be visible because it really went to moderation and it was just showing up due to your session.

In general the auto approve links are a very small percentage of what shows successful, often times 99%+ of links submitted go to moderation, and 1% or less sometimes is what is auto approve. (This isn't a hard fast rule, but if your just scraping and posting, then its a loose idea of what to expect).

Here is a video by loopline that goes more into depth on it:

As well, here is a video that explains how to build an Auto Approve list, if that is what you are after:

is it still worth it ?
I mean if you want to do pretty much anything in SEO or Internet Marketing then scrapebox is a must have.

But if you want to make hamburgers or work on cars, then no its not worth it.

So what do you want to do?

@loopline I'm about to purchase the license..Just have one noob doubt. Basically I want to rank Facebook pages on Google (extremely low competition niches) so I'm gonna use the comment poster feature of SB most of the time. So how is SB different than GSA in this matter. Sorry if it sounds off topic!

Fast poster is like 0.0001% of what scrapebox does, it was just something added in at a user request. Scrapebox "can" build links, but it is not a link building software, its primary focus is being the swiss army knife of SEO/Internet Marketing.

Where as GSA SER is a link buliding program whose primary focus is building links.

As such GSA can build links on platforms that scrapebox can not, conversely scrapebox can build links on platforms GSA SER can not ,but on the whole, because GSAs primary focus is link buliding, and it alone costs more then scrapebox it can build links on more platforms then scrapebox can.

Since Scrapebox can do 10,000 things that GSA SER can not, and link building is literally just 1 in 10,000 of the things Scrapebox can do, then scrapebox has value in direct link building, but also has value in helping you obtain links that neither scrapebox nor GSA can directly post to. Further scrapebox can assist in other things to help rank a site etc...

So its kind of comparing apples to oranges is the best way I can say it. If scrapebox works and ranks your sites, go for it. If GSA SER works, go for it.

Ultimately Id say you probably will want to obtain some quality links that scrapebox help help you get(although it won't directly build them) and these quality links are not able to be directly built by scrapebox or GSA.

So I would use Scrapebox comment poster to some degree, but automated link building is only a piece of the pie, not the whole pie, regardless of the program used.
