Seems like the best thing to do is invest your time in maximum 2 projects until they pay off.

Update: I might be lost in the sauce.
Web Design:
I have been making progress very slowly. I ended up adding much needed addons to the web design page. (Https, typeform contact page, landing page for fb ads). Overall making the website look much better, and functional. I always have run some FaceBook ads, just to test it out and see what I am up against. I used AdEspresso to create multiple versions (148) of my ads and manage the logistics.
FB Ads:
The results are attached, and they are not pretty haha. I target users I thought would be in my target market. They were old, business owners, that live exclusively in my college town. I ran two sets, the first set just linked them to my homepage, the second set of ads sent them to the sales funnel. Its funny because I copied exactly this sales funnel, which is suppose to convert 80% of traffic. But I assume my FB targeting was shit so thats why it didnt work.

I spent $40 to learn alot and get 1 Facebook like
Other Portfolio Items:
My others businesses, I have not touched since last mentioned in the journal, I have to pick and choose where I spend my time. Going forward I think my web design company will see most of my time because I can control more of the outcome, kinda. Speaking of which, I am still trying to close this web design client. Every time I meet with them, its something, last weekend they were out of town, this weekend a prior engagement. I am not worried because they have the money and interest, just about timing them when they are in town to collect the payment.
My Business Partner:
We are still working on things, we have picked a route we want to move forward with and are executing, it just the lag between us and the vendors we are working with is unbearable especially since my partner and I are fast movers. I really want to stick with this idea and see it through.
Conclusion:
I have about a month and a half left until school starts, and Im still working on the game plan. Right now I am looking for companies to whitelabel there FB ads from. I need case studies, pictures etc to show potential clients. I have noticed the Social Media Agencies is now a trend and people are selling 1k montly packages to small businesses. I can add that service to my web design company. Two clients and I would have no worries with bills while I am in school. Basically I need to find clients, and make sales. Thats my current mission.
~Too broke, must work harder.

Great read, @promomaster44 . I was in the same boat, overwhelmed by possibilities. Try to focus on one of two projects at a time. If you neglect a project that runs wel it will all be for nothing! Good luck on your journey.

Update: IDK
It's been a month since I last made a post. There has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I haven't run a FB ad since the last time. I haven't done anything toward the Affiliate websites. I have updated the web design website with more content, and found a seo guy to trade SEO for Social Media marketing. So that's slowly making progress. I did end up closing the bakery for web design, got the 50% upfront but the client has been MIA for almost two weeks which is really annoying because they are suppose to be providing content and pictures for the site.
What I have learned:
I don't want to own a web design business. I am not passionate about it, and would rather outsource the work, even the I would be iffy about taking on more clients unless they were quality. Lower budget $3-800 is not a good range to be in. In the future I won't get out of bed for less than $1k.
I want to own a digital marketing agency. I have done alot of research, and digital marketing will most likely be the end all be all for marketing your business online. I am not talking about Social Media Marketing, which is just a tactic under the Digital Marketing umbrella. I recently pitched a client for DM services, which involve Fb ads, Podcast Ads, SMM, and other creative ideas to market their services using undervalued opportunities. That is what I am passionate about.
I realized that I won't ever be happy clocking into a 9-5 not just because I don't like working for other people, but I feel that my quality of life is best when my life is my business. For the two weeks that I was in talks with the potential client, I got up early, sent emails, put together proposals, found team members, (gfx designers, content writers, project managers etc), built a contract, sent contract to lawyer for review, client follow up, strategy planning what to do if we got the client. Every day this was my life and I loved it. It was extremely stressful but thats what I want. The feeling of going to work, dealing with shit customers, dealing with bs job stuff, having to down play my entrepreneurial spirit in order to bond with my coworkers, is more stressful than the things I mentioned above. I am also not very good at it.
The proposal went well, I did a online conference call and went over step by step the proposal, we discussed pricing (almost a 2k monthly job) and they seemed to be into it. Said it was the most informational meeting they've had. Following week they asked me to send over the contract along with invoice. After those were sent, I haven't heard back. I will follow up again this week, but its not looking too good. So after 2 weeks of playing businessman I am back to reality still broke as before.
My Business Partner:
We are still executing our original plans and those are slowly coming together. It was weird working with a internet stranger at first but its normal now and not really a total stranger. I am driven to get this money and so is he.
Overall:
I am feeling indifferent about the situation. Atleast I figured out a way to bring value to people and not just sell $1k social media packages. Kinda bummed about the digital marketing client, the web design client, idk i guess they'll email me back whenever they want. You need more organic and paid traffic to increase your amazon earnings.
Since you are just starting, I recommend you do SEO.

Life has definitely kick me in the ass. As far as my web design business goes. We are ranking number 1 for a couple of local keywords on Google. Which is really good. A few interested clients have emailed but haven't closed a solid client yet. I also have learned how to rank YouTube videos on google. Cant say that Im rolling in dough, nor should I have expected to be but kinda thought Id be further along with my businesses. I am still working with my business partner so thats good. We're going to make something work thats for sure. Ive been taking a look at some IG accounts that we have, been thinking of ways to make money using them. Possibly selling services to local businesses that would help boost their followers and engagement.
Looks like consistency and perseverance is what it takes. Sorry since its been awhile. Just wanted to let you guys know that Im still on this journey and nothing is going to stop me!

Damn it's been almost two years since the last update. I'm still going at the web design thing, we are ranking number 1 for a lot of local keywords but still having trouble getting a steady stream of clients.

Hahaha sounds like you earned a great experience from all this venture !
How are you doing financially right now? And looking back on your journey do you regret now going all in the affiliate website ?

Financially I'm not doing a whole lot better than I was two years ago. I have gotten paid clients but I have to constantly refill the funnel after I finish a client. I'm trying to figure out how to get them to come to me.
I don't regret going all in on the affiliate websites, I learned alot. 1 being don't do things just for the money. I actually enjoy running a web design agency, even though it's nowhere near where I want it to be just yet. 2. The barrier to entry is so low for affiliate and web design that you really gotta know you shit to be successful, my strong suit is knowing how to run a business and putting pieces that I need together.
I think now that I am focused on one thing, I'll be able to move faster then splitting my time between other projects.
