Get $40 stellar very easily

People that want something for nothing I guess. You provide more information applying for a bank account.
That's the thing, your identity is not nothing. The difference is that your data with traditional banks are safe, mostly. With these sites? Questionable.

Question people should ask is why would someone pay you $25 for doing nothing? Why is that data so valuable? How do they make money back after paying out millions of dollars?
Blockchain.com are not funding this, Stellar is. Most of the initial tokens are set aside for airdrops and giveaways. See the distribution details here. Stellar supply the tokens in return for a blockchain.com listing. Same as the Coinbase earn giveaways going on. All blockchain.com are "claiming" to get out of this is a boost in users.

What about data safety?
Blockchain.com are using the 3rd party service from Veriff for verification ID. In theory all blockchain.com should hold is the email paired to a hash from Veriff. However if you dig a little you can see that "Data can be exported to the vendor". I would hope this is just for GDPR request purposes but who knows really. Even if thats the case theres still a lot of data sitting on an Amazon AWS in Ireland somewhere that you are supposed to "trust" is secure or GDPR will get 'em :anyway::rolleyes:

Thanks
Hi,

This is not the typical article about how to get money in which we have to do thousands of operations in order to get a few dollars.

The Blockchain page is giving away Stellar just for registering. But considering they give away about $40, it's worth it!

https://www.blockchain.com/en/getcrypto

Enjoy ;)
Thanks mate!

It works, got mine and also few friends. Coinbase offers also 50$ worth of stellar, but I am still on waitlist. I belive people from USA can claim it without a waitlist but not sure though.

hi guys!
I have trouble in the verification process. The laptop's mic and camera are not requesting any permission, basically they don't open.
Finally, I sent the photos using the link to the mobile, but on the desktop website it still shows that I need to complete the verification process.

Any advices appreciated.
Thank you!

It works.
I got Stellar worth 48$.
My girlfriend too.

i made it yesterday and got 250stellar only its about 24$. . . they decreased quantity or how you got 40-50$?

Stellar was trading much higher when people were getting $40 or more.

yeah they are giving away free stellar but remember about trade-off. You should give away your privacy as KYC is required.

Agreed after reading back over it, unintended.

Coinbase, yes. 947 other exchanges? No.

Coinbase is also an institutional platform, like blockchain.com, and hold conflicting goals and values to much of the crypto userbase. Crypto is moving more and more towards becoming wall street 2.0, and these companies have a vested interest in that happening in order to further secure market position.

A majority of exchanges don't require KYC or proof of your identity in order to trade reasonably small amounts, and I'm not sure where you get the strangely precise number 947 from?

My point is that the marketing value of giving away $50 to you is not enough to justify why Blockchain would have done this. You seem to think that getting $50 is a win and that the data you provided is worth less than that. My point is that I believe that you're potentially incorrect and that from a logical perspective, easy money is not always smart money.

I second this.
