About 1 year ago I decided to create a MNS (micro niche site) in the health niche that was aimed at converting a really good clickbank product. I started with Bing ads and of course being the newbie that I am I ended up losing money. Sales would come in but I was spending more than I was making so I had to pull the plug on that. It really sucks because that Bing traffic was converting well. I had a tracker setup and everything but even after optimizing I couldn't make a profit. I don't have much money to throw at PPC anyway.

So, I kinda gave up until mid July of 2018 when I started reading about how great Pinterest was for traffic. Immediately I got a vps and a bot (Jarvee). I didn't have much experience with pinterest so I only loaded up 1 pinterest account lol. Funny enough after a couple weeks I was getting traffic just by repining and pinning my own unique pins I created. Traffic started climbing to 50-80 UV / day and the hops were coming through but... yup, you guessed it no sales.

Of course, this was my own fault due to just having 1 account but funny enough 2 months later traffic was steady and sales suddenly started coming in at about 1 per week during the month of September and October. Refunds killed me off though :(

So, I read about how you had to scale up. I got some really good private proxies and a total of 10 Pinterest accounts. My total costs are about $60 per month now and once I set everything up traffic went up as well (Though It wasn't a direct relationship). This was during November I was and am now getting about 300 UV per day, but sales have been terrible! I go 10 -15 days with not a single sale getting about 30 hops everyday and lots of order form impressions but still nothing, and today I'm devastated because out of the 2 measly sales I had in December 1 of them refunded today.

I crunched the numbers today and while Pinterest traffic may be "Free" you still have to take into account vps, bot, and proxy costs, turns out I'm in the red ~ -$70 not much but still gets me down because it's cutting it too close. Overall Pinterest traffic has been pretty lousy for me, it would be great if it was 100% free but like I said I'm in the red. Worst part is I make my own unique pins that are of very high quality! I don't scrape much and each account posts about 30 pins per day but still doesn't help.

My question is how is clickbank and pinterest working for you guys? Also here are my stats from right before my first sale using pinterest until today. The product with the most hops is the one I'm focusing on as it's the only one that has made sales for me, but that refund rate is terrible which is a little disappointing considering it's coming from a product with a supposed extremely low refund rate.

Hello @https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/icemetal.216792/ ! Are you creating your subscriber list with the traffic you're getting?

The country of your traffic is Tier 1?

One doubt ... how are you doing follow? Because in my experiments with Pinterest doing follow (of similar accounts) it really sucks. I try to place ONLY the # 100 new followers of that account or # 200 but Jarvee automatically scrapes the 800 followers and I really do not know if they are the most recent. Then I follow many inactive accounts ...

I'm trying to overcome that barrier but I can not

Yes, I have opt in forms to capture emails but I only get on average just 2-3 subscribers per day.Traffic is mostly from U.S. and other English speaking countries. My accounts get a decent amount of followers everyday but it doesn't seem like followers mean much on Pinterest. As far as Jarvee scraping recent users to follow or not I have no idea, I just let Jarvee do it's thing but find that from time to time it really messes up. Their customer support is fairly decent but can take a lot of back and forth because they will ask for logs and account ids and stuff. I have now increased the amount of posting each account will do to see if that changes anything.

You can drive hordes of Pinterest traffic WITHOUT the need for followers....optimise your pins and posts and you can easily rank and drive great traffic numbers.

I would send them to a landing page and give them information for free (free ebook). Then do some emailing with more information and then after the 5th email pitch them the product. I guarantee you will have more sales.

I'm about to give that a go with my list. Hopefully there are some sells.

My Jarvee is not working with pinterest. Any thoughts about that ?

A health product on Pinterest? Thats sounds like the worst place to get conversions in the health niche. Dude if you're running Jarvee on Pinterest just go for the Amazon affiliate stuff. Pick really cool unique products to fill your site with. All you're doing is driving massive amounts of traffic to Amazon and who cares if they buy the product that brought them to Amazon, because of the cookie. I can't remember but I think you'll receive a commission on anything they buy in the next 24 or 48 hrs. Someone can correct me here.

I guarantee you'll make more than what you're making now. But seriously, its all about the product. Is it unique? That's the main thing. Look at what goes viral on pinterest and just do Amazon. So much easier for the stage that you're at.

Not much other than I have stopped focusing solely on Pinterest and have started looking at ALL options to generate traffic. It's the only way to win at this game;)

Amazon cookie length looks to be 24 hours, but the commissions are pretty low.

I've had lots of problems with Jarvee and Pinterest in the past. All I can advise is to contact support and they should get it sorted. Also to save time be sure to send them logs, screenshots, unique account id's, etc. as they will eventually ask for all this.

Yeah, I agree that it was probably not the best idea to market a health product on Pinterest. I've since moved on from that but will for sure take a look at using amazon + pinterest as it seems like a better method. Thanks!

I have found sending traffic to an email list was the best way. Pinterest people click out of curiosity. Coming to your site with the offer of a free ebook, tends to get a decent conversion to a signup.

For example: Some one clicks on a well toned person on a beach, on pinterest. They come to your squeeze page. You offer a free 6 pack abs pdf, "ah its free I might have a look" signs up. Or Ask for $9.99 for pdf, unlikely to buy as they have not come to buy, just find out more info on the picture. In fact it might have been the beach or the sunset that impressed them.

Also if you have a squeeze page offering information on how to get a big discount on beach deals-- "Get 75% off by going short notice" vistor thinks "Rock on I am signing up" - send them a followup email with a link to a travel company that does discount trips, last minute, that sort of thing (with a long cookie)

I think the idea of a visitor being in a buying frame of mind is the most important if you want to sell directly when they land on your website eg they are looking for bottle openers and you are selling bottle openers

In relation to jarvee. I have been looking at Ghostbrowser. It can fake user agent, mac, ip with proxies, lots of stuff. They have a free version to try. Has anyone tried it?
