I didn't get a version update notification. 6.40 is now malfunctioning. Is there another version released after that?

FYI - Version 6.40 just keeps scanning proxy and not starting module. It is essentially experiencing the same issue as the first release of 6.40.

The AlexaBot is now opening the Chrome browser but it seems to be getting stuck after going to the SimilarWeb site. It just hangs after going there but not putting in the website. Since it gets stuck there, the next round of threads open up and continue like that until the bot crashes. Now it's just getting the bot to hit the websites we want and get past the SimilarWeb site hang.

Is this happening to others with the bot?

I am having the same issue. It's just crashing. Also Traffic Bot is not even working any more. Maybe there is an issue on the server side.

For Alexa Bot - There are no additional settings to set the number of visits, clicks, no option to set keywords or referrals. Is this intentional?

I'm assuming they were trying to keep it as light as possible, but it definitely needs more. I understand the concept they're trying with this to keep it simple and just using the extensions, but they just need to get it going.

The last fix took it a step closer and hopefully the developer can take us the rest of the way. Mainly, if it can just click on the sites we want with the extensions, that'll be great and then add to it once it's working properly.

The TrafficBot is working fine for me so I don't think it's a server issue. We use StormProxies with this as the public proxies kept dwindling down quickly.

I've got the 6.4 version of TB using the 64 version.

I use the visit URL and click in 2 URL module (but I had to modify it to work properly). Using StormProxies and working fine even now.


AlexaBot only uses private proxies or those you can pull together to add to Proxy section. It would be amazing if it could curate proxies like TB does, but right now, I just hope they get it working totally proper.

Have you tried reverting back to 6.3 as I did that when 6.4 first had the issue and had no problems with 6.3. Just as a short-term fix.

Yes, I kept a copy of 6.3, but the same issue is occurring. It does the same thing even if I install it on a new machine. Just starts cycling proxies nonstop.

This can happen if:
* the file dengine.exe do not exist (AV may have delete it)
* the url's don't start with http:// or https://
* If you don't have url set in the url tab

download again from the member area, and unzip to a new folder
If the error persist send us a screen to the support email
