Does Flesch Kincaid Reading Ease Score make any sense?

I have seen some people (mostly content writers) talk about how easy their content to read! I have even seen buyers posting good thing about how easy the content was to read!

Now that I have ordered a content for my affiliate website, after the delivery I have checked the content's readability, it was whooping 80+.
Content is fairly easy to read. But, it definitely misses the Native Writer Edge for sure.
What do you think guys? The score is a thing to be happy with? or I should instruct my writer to make it a little more complex.

Read it out loud. If it sounds like it was purposefully shortened after the fact to artificially boost the FKRES, then your reader will likely catch on. However, if it still makes sense to you, and falls into that type of range, you are golden. The better the reading ease, the simpler it will be to read for those who do not have English as their primary language. A "5th grade reading level" doesn't mean you're targeting your content towards 11 year olds, remember. But globally, many will have the English reading level equivalent to that of a 5th grader in the US or UK.

I try to aim between 60 and 80 for my articles whenever possible. Sentence length is the largest detractor from the FKRES that I have found.

My score is 70.45. where ASL is 12.68 and ASW is 1.46. Content size: 8497 words.

No, tbh I am pretty happy since it has that professional vibe in writing. I can feel it.
