There seems to be a lot of de-indexing happening recently.

Common scenarios:
- every inner page is ranking well but homepage is de-indexed (this is the most common one)
- inner page(s) with the most organic traffic get de-indexed
- inner page(s) with the most links get de-indexed

What all these incidents have in common is that they are very exclusive. Meaning, it only affects that particular page (even if homepage) and the rest of the site is completely untouched.

Is this happening to you?

Yes, I created similar thread yesterday. All You have to do, is request indexing in WMT.

I saw your thread.

The purpose of this one is to get more of a general idea/data about this trend.

its an error on google end, they will fix it.

Yup, I think the same. Just a bug. It's weird that this type of bug is happening, but what can we do? ;)
Luck is that we can bring it back immediately.

To be clear, there are sites that are still messed up, and submitting to WMT does not fix every issue.

Google says they will post when the issue is fixed on the above listed twitter feed. The last they messaged is that it should be fixed within 24 hours (the 24 hours have passed and its still not fixed yet).

I've had the same issue and I've tried submitting to GWT but they are not back as of yet, not sure what is going on.

I got big drop in traffic in the exact smae day that google says the bug started to impact rankings, but I cant say that one or other page was impacted more. The overall traffic seem to be down. This sucks so much , the same page got hit with the medic update recently

Yes. My sites keep having weird indexing issues. They'll be indexed, two days later, the inner pages were deindexed. Then the next day, they're back and the homepage was gone. A little ridiculous but I read they're working on it.

I've seen a lot of comments on FB where people vanished from Serps then 4 days later are back on page one, and they've all said the same that it was a glitch by Google.

This happened with one of my affiliate pages. This one is the only page which is currently ranked and getting traffic. It got deindex and out of 500 from the SERP immediately. I fetch it via webmaster 2 days back. Today I saw it's on the 1st page again but not in the previous position.
