I do not believe that statement. However Facebook is really desperate, less and less people are using the platform.
Nowadays most people are only on: Instagram - Twitter - TikTok...
I am woried that Instagram could end up same like Facebook, if they wont be more careful what are they doing right now.
There is every 3rd post ad (on my main account) and i am getting tired of it...
This isn't only my problem, lot more people complain about IG ads...
They are full of stories, now they are trying to put them even on IGtv. The shopping feature in near future will be available (where i guess IG - FB will take a % cut of a price), the donation button aswell...
We'll see, how they implement their new features. Hopefully they wont sink this ship eiter.

I'm fairly new to pushing hard on IG, but here's a question regarding IGTV: We know they only accept "vertical" videos, but I have simply been rotating my "horizontal" videos 90 degrees and uploading; the viewer simply has to tilt their phones on its side to view. Wondering if IG will try to penalize/delist/shadow ban videos uploaded in this manner?

Hello everyone,
let's talk about what instagram is preparing for us.
1) Instagram is testing Direct on Desktop version (web).
2) Instagrams's “Main account” is reportedly being tested.
For those who do not know what that means.
Basically instagram is testing that, you would be able create multiple accounts (number is uknown, but my guess will be 5) with one password and email.

3) Instagram is pushing IGtv as much as possible, we all know that already...
So, they've decided they will add - put IGtv posts on home feed.
(i had this feature for a while, unfortunetely i updated to next version, before i took a screenshot and it disappeared)
It showed up like “recommended for you” and look like 3+ IGtv posts next to each other (smaller than regular post) between 2 posts on your home feed (different than screenshot bellow).
If you have this feature, feel free to share a screenshot.
Also Instagram announced on their twitter:
“Now, you can preview IGTV videos in your feed. When there's a new video from someone you follow, you can tap from your feed to watch the full video in IGTV.”
Here is how it looks:
4) Instagram is working on Quiz Stickers - This could be huge update for stories.

Hello,
Instagram is currently working on the vertical feature.
It should soon hit the IGtv. So you don't have to worry about getting shadow banned, banned...

My apologies, I did mean horizontal.
Right now the IGtv is in vertical mode.
I always mistake these two with each other.

If you break the V of Vertical into two you have two bars: I and I. so Vertical means something that has this form I
