Instagram automation: Which Proxy is safe with Jarvee?

Hello,

I'm an artist and my Instagram account is 5 years old and has 15k natural followers.

My goal: get automation without risking my Instagram account (I only have this one)

State of research:

Bot: Jarvee

VPS: Contabo (recommended by jarvee customer support)

Proxy: ???

HOW CAN I GET A SAFE PROXY?

Jarvee couldn't recommend any to me - they said so many had been blacklisted/banned/blocked

In reviews people often claim that they ordered virgin proxies - but got whore proxies that were used before and got their accounts into trouble or banned.

Which of those companies below is best - or do you recommend another one?

1. SSL Private Proxies problem: I contacted them twice but didn't get a reply to pre-sales question. Maybe they only deal with large companies? If they don't reply to email it'll hard to order anyway.

2. High Proxies I think they are located on the Seychelles. I heard good and bad about them, and that's the problem. I don't know which reviews to trust. Their customer support is very attentive

(I know safety is also to apply conservative settings on Jarvee, and start small and increase only over time)

PS: How many proxies do I need? I may automate just my 1 Instagram account - or I may automate 2 (mine and my rep's account)

The problem is I only have one account - and it's an account grown over 5 years. So I don't want to risk getting a bad proxy.

Is there no truly reliable source to get a good proxy? (and is 1 enough for one account?)

And once you're on a VPS, you'll need a Proxy to have an IP address that's not the generic one of the VPS - am I right or wrong here?

I don't know how this works. Googling would only take the word "child" literally so I couldn't find information on that technique.

You are right about this. If you don't have spare computer to run windows or can't buy one or you prefer VPS then you will have to get proxy because when IG detects that the IP is coming from some VPS provider it surely won't end up well.
Another option is to have like raspberry pi and set it as a your own proxy with your home IP. I guess you are not that technical and proxy for one account should not be that huge in the cost overall.

Basically you go here https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/proxies-for-sale.112/ read the threads + you have comments of other users. You look at their sales thread and usually they put a website where you can buy proxies and most of them even have some discounts for forum members. Best proxies (and most expensive ones of course) that I found searching are 4G and Residential, you don't want to go with shared proxies nor IPV6 ones.

But if you are automating and using your account naturally at the same time make sure to not use your account at the same time with bot (different IP) and from your home as this might be suspicious activity, I don't know haven't tried it but it just showed up in my mind to tell you this. Also don't run aggressive settings and you should be fine.

I had the same thought. Would do exactly this

The providers listed in the poll are all about the same quality. They should work fine. People usually run into issues with proxies if there isn't good subnet diversity (too many similar accounts running on the same Class C IP range) or a provider has too many spammers.

If you only have an account, I'd go with using your residential IP address and using your PC/laptop and see how it works.

Once you're involved in the botting world, you could go for a VPS and proxies

It's best to create on the same IP if possible, but I doubt Instagram will let you create accounts from a VPN anyway.

Switching IPs is ok but be prepared for email / phone verification. Warm up settings slowly.

You can use the same residential proxy to manage the account which you used while creating the account. If you use VPN for creation then make sure to use the same country proxy while managing the a/c.

Thanks! That's a good idea. So I would run the Windows computer connected to my Mac router and it would get the same IP as the IP I have when I connect my phone through WiFi to that router.

I always thought that you need a proxy because Jarvee can run for so many hours - and nobody can do so many hours of Instagram. But I get it that Proxies are for people who run many Instagram accounts, and can't run them from one IP address.

Me, with just one Instagram account, I don't really need a proxy and a real, residential IP address that doesn't change (or rarely - I found out my Internet provider changes my IP address about every 18 months - I'm on broadband - which is when I have to change the "block my visits" filter in Google Analytics)
