From a lot of experience being a seller and using PayPal here's my advice:

1) Only accept payment as Friends & Family
- A lot say 'don't use F&F' but also say 'Don't have charge-backs', is it ever explained how to reduce charge-backs though? No. Only accepting payments via F&F ensures a 0% charge-back rate.

2) Create a new PayPal when $1,400 has gone through your PayPal account (in and out).
- PayPal tend to lock/investigate accounts when they hit the $1,500 milestone. Stopping at $1,400 allows you to unlink your personal information that PayPal would use to identify you with your next account (such as Cards, Banks, Mobile Numbers, Addresses)

3) ALWAYS refund Goods & Services payments
- Ensures 0% charge-backs
- Lowers your accounts risk of getting locked (makes PayPals algorithm think you're being a responsible business, as if you're refunding a defected product)
- Most customers are just trying to save the $0.36-$2 on the transfer fee by using G&S, you can either tell them to send as F&F after refunding (which they'll usually do after realising they're not going to get your service without it) or offer to take on the fee (by reducing your price etc.)

4) NEVER make your PayPal accounts 'Business Accounts'
- This will only increase the likelihood of getting locked before the $1,500 threshold, ending in your personal info being locked too.

Really hope this helps, it certainly helps me.

Lol, according to you I did everything wrong. I'm running 2 PayPal business accounts for 2 years now getting xx.xxx$ monthly there and NEVER had any issues. Just be honest to PayPal, provide them with correct info and register your business.

Unless you sell weapons or whatever you shouldn't have issues :D

I'm targeting SMM panel owners, we tend to get locked a lot as our services aren't really traceable.

I guess this is the process for either blackhat or illegal services.

In reality, if you're a business you want a business account.

If you only take F&F payments you will 1000% get hammered eventually by PayPal, they're not fools.

You should modify your thread in order to not mislead people who may not be aware

Buyers usually don't allow to pay through Friends and family. If they do so It is not possible to do charge back if a seller does not provide the service as promised.

Looks like pretty bad advice
How about this: follow PayPal rules?

I agree with the first point though.

Even if we follow paypal rules, they do limit the account at a certain time for the validation of id and security reasons. So my advice is to use paypal only when buyer has only paypal.rest of the times accept all the other payment methods.

Fuck PayPal dude they ruined my life my business just because of one filthy chargeback.. my question is do they charge any fee if the case is decided in buyers favour? I already added the money to resolve the negative balance but those cunts showing me $0 and the case is still opened.. they asking me to refund.. they sent me no information that they took the money out of my card.. where the fuck the they took went???? And wtf else I need to pay then I already paid the negative balance??? This sucks.
What if buyer wins the case since it's PayPal fault they not letting me pay and showing error and then suddenly cut the money without informing me.. wtf is this guy's please explain me..! It's killing me... Seriously I hope that scammer and those fucking PayPal managers greedy people and CEO dies of cancer..!!!

What are the issues with verifying your ID if you follow the rules?

This advice is borderline insane and very dangerous. You are going to have to commit pure fraud to follow your advice because you can't just create new paypal accounts every day unless you are doing some fraudulent. Accepting only friends and family can get your account locked too because obviously you are not friends and family, and it's easy for the buyer to prove to Paypal just to get your account locked. Then the buyer can also call their credit card and say they got scammed and ask for a chargeback. Unlinking your account is not going to prevent Paypal from connecting the accounts together. Surely they are not that stupid.

My advice is convert your paypal immediately after receiving them. Even you receive your payment based on friend and family is not zero charge back rate. The sender can always claim they were hacked. If they use different ip while sending. Paypal will always side with them. If your paypal funds got hold refund it to the sender and received it again using different paypal account.

I'm my country I can convert paypal immediately to bitcoin. I think there similar service in your country just look for it.

In the vote above there are only lost money options? What about have "never had an issue with them" I had an issue before but they sided with me and the guy trying to get free services got billed anyways. I have not lost any money and have had my account for 7+ years

Oh come on, if PayPal would be crap it wouldn’t be used by so many people. It does limit or does some other shit, but so do banks and every other system.

Useful thread!
Thanks.

None of those ways are the actual things to bring your PayPal in a long time i share the thought which I have faces in last 3-4 Years using PayPal

01.no client wants to deal for the first time business to send you as a Friends and Family.

02. and 04. It's a wrong idea I have used more than 6-7 PayPal with 4 of them are business PayPal doing 8-10k USD transaction using each of those business PayPal on every month. For a new PayPal, you should do some shorter transaction like $400/$500 etc. i mean less than 1k USD will be better at a time, in a month you can do several transactions but the small transaction will be better to make a stable PayPal using it 2-3 month continuously.

03. it seems ok but i think PayPal algorithm works its own way and max. buyer will prefer to make their payment as goods and services so it depends on the buyer and seller relationship.

Thanks :-)

If you do big enough monthly turnover you'll get dedicated personalized support on the phone. Typically Romanian or Bulgarian guys, poor English but otherwise very nice and helpful.
Much easier to solve any charge-back issues when you have that.

Personally I've been looking for quality alternatives to PayPal for years. Haven't found anything better for businesses based outside of the US...

Did they charged you any fee?
What if you lose? Will they charge fee then? I am in same condition and the claim is being reviewed and It will be sided with buyer so they will charge the fee after that? Currently they not showing any fee..
