ASMR Youtube Channel Journey

Sounds a bit strange but this niche is amazing, lol.

I've been watching such videos for studying and sleep better at night, sometimes just for relaxing. Then I asked myself, why not making my own channel? So I also remember that I had one of these "binaural" microphone, plugged it to my pc and tested, it worked well.

So, now I'll start my journey in growing an ASMR channel, I'll focus more on Italian traffic to avoid most of the competition, but I'll also make English videos.

What I have:

- 4000+ watch hours channel with 4600+ subscribers (account were bought)
- Brand new Instagram page on an aged account (I'll start botting soon)

What I've done:

- Uploaded my first video, gonna buy some views (around 1000 for testing)
- Created the Instagram page with profile pic, bio, and uploaded the first video (just 1 minute with the caption "full video on youtube, link in bio" (this, translated in italian).

What I need:

- Waiting for the monetization (in review)

Nothing else, after that I'll start monetizing the traffic that now is quite low for obvs reasons. The good thing is that now Youtube hates "stolen" contents like compilations, etc.. and likes original videos with voice and face, and that what's ASMR video basically are.

I'll keep updating this frequently, goodnight now!

Hey, so i know a little bit about the asmr niche so let me ask you these questions:

Are you a woman?

IF NOT:
Are you extremely good looking (beautiful face) ?

IF NOT
Do you have a 3DIO microphone or similar?

IF NOT

Well don't fucking bother. No really, growing an asmr channel if you are a male + unattractive + no 3dio (or similar type) is almost impossible.

Of course you can always find people who like your content but let's be honest if you will have a 1000 times less success than a big titty asmr girl with shitty mic.

The asmr niche is awesome because you can make a 1 hour long video every single day in basically 1 hour of work so for the youtube watchtime will be through the roof but again if you are an ugly guy with shitty blue yeti mic (it's not shitty of course but not good enough for the true asmr experience) you will have a hard time...

But good luck to you if you still want to go with that route !

Hey man, 100% true words here, that's why I anlyzed a few things. I work as fashion model offline, so I'm quite attractive; moreover, I will target a specific subniche no one is doing in my country, and It's a thing that if It's done by a male, It will instantly go viral around all the girls.

In the end, I also have an attractive girlfriend and she is ok in making some vidoes, such as back scracthing/massage

Hi. I don't know what you are aiming with the Black Hat strategy for your ASMR. But I don't think you should be going at the route of GMT2 and automation. If you are making an asset, focus on the slow-paced success.

If you do all these automation, you never know when you loose all your hardwork.

It's a lot difficult to make a YouTube channel with such a good authority nowadays. So whatever followers you would gain with hardwork (without automation) might loose forever.

Work on Content, instead of automation.

I have seen a lot of ASMR so I know how good they are in content.

Great idea! I discovered this kind of video some months ago and i was quite impressed by the number of people that actually is into these things. This is really a growing niche, if you have the right look (90% asmr channels are owned by beautiful girls) go for it! Maybe doing videos in two (you and your girlfriend) can be really something new, at least for the Italian market.
I will follow your journey.

Update

So I made some new videos and started testing the audience. Boosted every video with 800-1000 views and 15% likes. Yesterday I also tested some generated commets (10) and they worked nice: I got some real comments (not self promoting) and much more likes on the video. As always, title, desc, tags and thumbnail are 100% optimized.

For the IG: I'm about at 200 followers and 1000 followings, so the follow back is quite above the 10% and I like that. Also, I get 20-30 likes per post (1 minute preview of the youtube video) so I'm above the 10% of the followers. Things are going quite good, rendering a single video takes a bit even with an i7 processor, but I want them to be HQ (since YouTube helps HQ videos on ranking). Anyway, I'll also test this method to rank videos and see if there's any improvement.
