Well, that depends on what the current SEO requirements are and the kind of article you’re looking to write. To begin with, you can just make sure that you’re hitting Yoast requirements (or whichever site you use) while you’re writing. So you don’t want to have too much passive or sentences or paragraphs that are too long. You’ll also want to keep readability as high as you can get it to be and, of course, make sure that the text is original. And if you’re writing around keywords you should integrate them naturally. Then, after you’ve done all you can with the article, you can optimize the page itself by adding image meta etc. Those are the basics, maybe I could help more if I knew the type of article you were going for.
