@chrsplmr My question is about purchasing large accounts from sellers. What are some things I should keep an eye out for before spending any money on buying an account?
I want to focus on the travel niche and do a location-specific account to profit from my local connections. Any advice?
Great question, my advice would be
1. Check the account followers are there a lot of accounts that look like they are foreign / different language or just accounts without photos and blank and also look for accounts with spintax names such as timmy77643 etc... so stop one look over the account very well.
2.DO NOT USE A TOOL to check if it’s a fake influencer they are easy to fool , they generally check the comment rate ratio to follower like ratio to give a % of fakeness depending on the site the ratio may be different.
3. Check account age , be serious with yourself generally someone with an account growing real followers will grow 1-4k a month if you see spikes walk ,
4. Look through the likes are the likes totally different people then there followers ? Are the likes all foreign? The likes good majority should be from base followers and you will see the same name show up if your seeing images that are getting 7k likes with a 10k follower account something is wrong.
5. Ask the seller how they grew if they grew 100k in a year I would start looking close unless they are connected to some type of celeb or did collars with any know accounts.
6. Look at the comments are they from foreign accounts , are they genuine ? Are they just emogis etc , do the comments match the photos? And are the comments very high to fool a noob to thinking they have a great account?
7. After all this is done if all checks out the price should match the effort put into the account
8. Speak to owner if your lucky possibly get a sample post see if you drive any conversion from the account it’s unlikly this will happen but this would be beneficial.
