Will buying Google reviews increase ranking ?

I have read multiple blogs from writers and other authorities such as moz local, brightspark and a few others. There has been multiple tests that proove reviews are a ranking signal.

The way i see googles algo is like a recipie. Your trying to feed google and get the balance right.

I have done citations and a ton of other stuff. I have the same citations as my top rated competitor. I have then extended on this. I have links from local influencer bloggers. I have done map stacking and a ton of other stuff too.

Now the only thing our competitor is beating is on is google reviews. I have already ordered the reviews so i am going to try it.

How can buying reviews of a reputable vendor harm the ranking ?

If i got real reviews of real clients, would that harm my website. Hell no.. So i am not getting the logic when people are saying about getting reviews will be bad.

In my eyes. It is the missing piece of the puzzle for me. If the reviews i buy have a negative impact, i will ask vendor to remove. Simple as that.

Google isnt a machine. Google isnt a human. Its an algo. Simple.

The google reviews are a ranking signal, according to various aithorities online. Theres even a couple blogs out there showing the impact reviews have and showing its a ranking signal.

Google is not a machine or human. Its a search engine, that dictates results through an algo.

The reviews in my opinion, will help ranking. How does getting 5 star reviews hurt my ranking in any way ?

I will report back in my findings. Still having a tough time understanding those who are saying in not so many words 5 star reviews wont have any impact. We will have to agree, to disagree on that.

If for whatever miracle the 5 star reviews have a negative impact, i will swiftly email the vendor to remove. Its that simple.
You dont know how good artificial intelligence is at pattern recognition. It depends on how lenient google is and how realistically the reviews are posted, but it could very well have a negative effect. And deleting might not completely lift it once youre flagged. I hope it works out for you, but Id be very careful with faking stuff

how are your competitors getting so many reviews?

offer an incentive eg write a review and you can win a meal for 2 etc

There location is the main thing. They are basically the only bar restaurant in that neighbourhood. There reviews are mixed too. There is a lot of 5 stars but they also have a huge mix of 1,2, 3 and 4 stars.

We currently have 21 x 5 star reviews and 1 x 1 star review. 2 of these reviews were recently left of the vendor.

We have had so far 2 reviews left by the vendor with keyword rich content. Both reviews have stuck. Both reviews look legit, with profile pics and everything. Worth the money IMO. There profiles have youtube and other social activiry, so very impressed with the reviews.

Make sure to post your results!

I bought 5 geo-location based reviews last week and provided the vendor with keyword-riched content! Still waiting to see the results :).

Keep trying, success will come for sure!

How much did you pay for the reviews, if you dont mind me asking ?

I have had 2 reviews left of my vendor so far, they look legit as fuck, a lot better than i expected! They have profile pics, social media presence, etc. Anyone investigating would not know it was purchased. :D

I am also going the same route with keyword rich content in the reviews, targetting our main keywords.

If you need more, this is the vendor i was recommended, they even do $1 google review to try there service. Only down side is the offer is only available if it is your 1st order :(

We were offering incentivised offer PRIOR to them leaving a review, which we have changed now. We also have a quick LP and some other marketing materials, along with the waiters been told to actively encourage patrons to leave a review, whilst they wait for the bill.

People will say they'll review just to avoid awkwardness. Expect this. Generating organic reviews is a numbers game, but your odds can be improved by removing friction points. Anything that makes it easier for them to review quickly and with minimal effort. One thing I've found success with is framing the review as a favor from them to you rather than an evaluation of service. For example, "We've been having trouble with our competitors buying fake reviews, if our service was good would you mind helping us out and leaving a positive review before you go?"

If people think there's a reason beyond "corporate self-promotional bullshit" they're much more likely to do it.

Lmao banned. Was this just an elaborate google reviews selling campaign?

I was suspicious after the blatant disregard of numerous members trying to give solid advice. Anyway don’t forget to remove the selly link posted in here (if you haven’t already)

I think I got it and other 3 he had in there and I know I spam removed all his outgoing PMs with the same link (about 40).

He cannot be real bright if he didn't fool me.

It's old i know but does reviews really a ranking factor or not? And what if i want to do SEO services for my clients, How can i produce those reviews? I don't really want to buy fake reviews as i see it very unethical and deceiving people as i imagined my self reading this fake reviews and taking action on something that's not legit or worth it!
