[Journey] Let's grow this website till it becomes an Authority

Fitness niche/ Keto and stuff are awesome af if you want to make quick bucks from ADs
indeed it is :) i have seen a future competitor of mine running some paid traffic to a review of his on that green organifi drink stuff on CB, but holy hell i didnt know you could even scale it that hard:eek: i havent messed with paid ads yet, lost my ass on it about year ago with dropshipping :(

So if i add 1 article of 300-500 words daily on different web2.0s daily
how big are you planning to build em 3-7 articles each web2.0? using all handwritten, even inner pages?

i will use them as a buffer to boost my site over time
how well has then been working for you? i never notice much of a boost:(

I will give this task to a VA once i add my homepage link to these web2,0s.
if need recommendation, I will recommend @Sofiamartinez for this, i'm using his design guy now, and its been excellent. His web2 guy is making 1st meaty web2.0 for me tonight, i let you know if work is good :)

I decided to build another 1 along side your thread cuz it motivates the fuk outta me and your threads are gold :) ima try my best and keep up with you :)

Update:

The work is going on fine right now. The thing is i stopped adding articles to the website. I will try and add 1 article per day for next 30 days (Fill up a silo in 30 days), using 2 different writers.

I am putting out 1 "Best" article, 3 "review" article and 3 "Info articles" per week. Everything will be listed on my Silo page(Which is also a kind of Resource page for me)

So 1 article per day. Let's start af.

Today i posted an article of 3300 words on "Best" Keyword in US (Search vol is around 3300)

The page hasn't indexed yet, for a new site it can take upto 3-4 days ( If internal linking is done properly). I will be building some info-supporting articles for this now (Around 3 of them to start)

Let's see what's up with you guys.

I recently started a fitness niche website and I will be following this thread. Good luck @WebMinati

Do you recommend to create our own web 2.0 or pay to get a link?

if you’re not using adsense what do you monetize your website with?
Awesome. I am also starting a fitness website on the side as i got an awesome auctioned domain which can really rank some high value keywords.

Create your own web2.0s or get someone to make them for you(Can be very powerful), Recently @BassTrackerBoats released a web2.0 service, Which looks great to me :)

Also, get your own pbn if you have the money.

I monetize using affiliate stuff (mostly private affiliates)

Not sure if I understood your web 2.0 strategy..
So now you have 50 web20 in place. And now you gonna place the link in all of them pointing to your homepage. How many links a day?
And then once it's done you giving those web 2.0 to your VA and he is gonna add 1 article a day (Wtihout any links) to a random web20 everyday
Right?

I meant 50 web2.0 sites (Each one will have 1 link only). But i am increasing the number of articles to increase the relevancy of that web2.0 to my website. It is costing me about $30 to build 1 web2.0 right now but i know it's an awesome link (Relevant and strong).

Total backlinks and RD will be 50 only and to the homepage of the website. So with time my web2.0s will push this site af.

Following your journey. All the Best
Thanks.

Hey Webminati,

This will be fun. keeps me motivated.
so here is my first question.
What Anchor text ration will you use on your web 2.0's (out of 50) will you use your main or partial match keyword on any of them ?

I am using branded, naked and title anchors only. I will be a bit aggressive for my inner page link building.

@WebMinati Great journey so far!

About your web2.0s:
Do you use different web2.Os or some may be on the same web2.0 with different subdomains?
How many links from each web2.0 to your money site?
What links do you build to your web2.0s?
All of them are different.
1 link from each web2.0 (Supporting articles link back to the main backlink article). (Getting 300 topics for getting the article was difficult af) but did it in 1 day.

Solid. You went from getting penalized to holding stocks within the span of a few months.
Haha. Yup. That's a funny af story for another time :D

Hey, thank you for posting yet another journey.
You said this:

We will make more trust at first(setting up google properties and GMB can help you gain a lot of trust), So i am in process of doing all that. (have to update an author page with all the EAT information and whatnot :p)
  • Do you put a physical location of your website on google maps?
  • Do you use an author box at the end of the article to increase the EAT score?
Thanks!
1. Yup, I always start with a physical location and get my NAP done. Mostly that is enough to get my website on google maps without postcard. If you stay in the country you are targeting your keywords. Use your home as an office or some vacant place as an office.

2. I have just started using author boxes with all the social account and it link backs to the about page for more info about the writer.

While I am at it I thought of one more question.

Should one (1) 5 Page web 2.0 only point towards one url .
What I mean is that if i have 5 pages on a web2.0 should I link to 5 different pages of my website or just use all 5 pages to point go 1 single page/url.

Should I keep 1 web 2.0 of 5 page seperately for a certain url

like for example if i have a domain about Precious Metals
I have pages on my Website "Gold" "Silver" "Ruby" "Diamond"

Now I created Four (4) - 5X page web2.0's
1 for Gold
1 for Silver
1 For Ruby
1 for Diamond

or should I mix it up

for example a 5 page web 2.0 has 5 pages
so I point 1 to gold, 1 to silver 1 to ruby
mix it up

or

just keep all 5 pages of web 2.0 to gold
lol hopefully you understand the quesion
This can work well. But i will recommend to get guest posts, Cheaper web2.0 properties for inner pages.

1 for Gold
1 for Silver
1 For Ruby
1 for Diamond

I am currently working on making relevancy for the site that's all. Getting powerful links from relevant sites to the homepage does that for me. I will also create 20 PBNs for my homepage with same strategy. Most of the strong guest posts are for inner pages so it's difficult to score guest posts for the homepage. Though, it can be very powerful. If your homepage connects to all of your important silos.

I have hired writers at $3 per 1000 words (expect the quality). My Va charges $4 per hour. So that's how it is going. I am making the relevancy as powerful as possible :)

Eg:
If i am pushing organifi review:

The web2.0 article will be:

How to make healthy green drinks
Organifi review
Why i opted for organifi for my health
Tips to choose the best health drink for yourself
and etc.

Good luck for new Journey
Thank you :)
Do you use web 2.0s from different subdomains?

Or at random?
Different sub domains :)
Good luck on your journey :)
Thank you :)

Great journey, how long do you think it'll take for your site to become an authority if everything goes as planned?

I follow your journey and learning new stuffs at the same time. Thank you!

Today i posted an article of 3300 words on "Best" Keyword in US (Search vol is around 3300)

Is the above ^ quote a coincidence? Like you publish 3300 words on a KW that has 3300 m/s
So if the search is 5500, you are going to write a 5500 words :p
Just curious.

I have no idea. I want to post around 1 million words on the website with proper intent for all the keywords I target.

Also, making backlinks would be difficult af. I will try and do proper interlinking.

It's a coincidence :P

I told my writer to write 2000-3000 words. It came out to be 3300.

That's all.

What affiliate programs do you promote on this site? (Amazon, Clickbank, .. )
Do you plan to use social media? ( like building a youtube channel) ? ^^

Update:

Added 1 article on the site today. Good thing is that my friend is writing for me now :)

Awesome article imo.

Also, added html sitemap to the bottom menu.

Now I am working on fixing the site speed. I pushed this website from vultr to aws.

No change at all in speed so I am getting it back now.

Vultr is great for the price. Plus points for that.

Added a video sitemap. Pushed it to the console.

Adding authors and their bios now.

I have to improve how users will interact with the site. Making the site better for it's readers will help a lot.

For example:

I am adding index to all the content, So that it's easy for the user to find what they want to read fast.

Added a few videos in the articles.

That's all.

CJ shareasale clickbank(some) and only one article with Amazon product.

I have a YouTube channel in this niche. I have employees who do Pinterest for my clients and me. So growing Pinterest too :)

Rest are just to get some backlinks.

How do you get guest posts links?

Outreach to a lot of people, pay them. That's the easiest way to get cheap guest posts.

Also you will have to build your relevancy properly to get out of so called "Google sandbox" fast.

I believe that if the site has good links it will start to grow. That's why 301 redirects work really well. Coz you get awesome links quickly. Hence you see a good boost in keywords.

Looking forward to more updates, I know you will shine on this one also!

How much should pay for guest post? do you need to provide article for the site owner? thanks

Your journey threads are always interesting to read. Tons of stuff to learn as well. Following this one.

Cheers

Are you using iftt for this site as you have used in the past?
Or do you think that it actually can harm ypur site in 2019

First time I hear about CJ shareasale. I opened the site and it looks so shady, I don't know. Doesn't look like authority site to me.

Update:

Uploaded another article of 1400 words (search vol around 2500), Not really easy to rank(Info article), but will try and get some links for this article. Will start with a relevant guest posts.

Depends. I pay 20 to 500 for good links. Sometimes you have to provide the article as well :)

You work on 3am, too? :p i thought it's easier after a point...

Another Update:

Just did a 301 redirection from a strong site(Which was in beauty niche), Added an article on the site(Beauty related and redirect the domain using the plugin redirection). I have redirected the domain to the inner page of the website and have linked to some important pages. I hope it works out.

Will tell you what happens :)

Also did some social shares for the page, Also some random bookmarks. Let's see what it does to the authority of the website. Pretty excited. (Redirected a 12 year old domain with good links)

Let's hope for the best :)

Yup. I just have freedom to work or not work. I choose to work as i love testing SEO :)

There was a point when i didnt work for 3 months :P Nov to jan 2019. Working feels better in my opinion. Working hard feels meditative.
