[Journey] Let's grow this website till it becomes an Authority

I know you can do it. Following your journey mate!

Update 1:

Thanks a lot of overwhelming response. So many people following will help me to understand a lot of new things. Lets see how it goes this time.

I have found a niche which is trending upwards (since 2019). It's in the health/beauty niche so it can take some time to rank.

My main strategy will be to write articles according to the intent and get links from high DR websites( Guest posts with 1000+ word articles)

Mostly whitehat to start but will be using some diversity and pbns(own and rented) once my keywords start to rank well on SERPs.

We will make more trust at first(setting up google properties and GMB can help you gain a lot of trust), So i am in process of doing all that. (have to update an author page with all the EAT information and whatnot :P)

Lets see how it goes.

I am starting with scratch and will invest around 3k in 6 months. Let's see how much can we make out of that :) Once we know that the niche can give out some real results. We will go for bigger links like Forbes and stuff.

I am just an ROI hungry fellow and want to get maximum ROI out of my sites. Some sites fail because of bad keyword research and lack of time. I think the competition is fair in this niche and i just have to take care of the perfectly building the site for the first 3 months.

Fair warning: This journey might be boring for some as i am not going full on blackhat(it's not making me as much money as it used to). Let's see what happens :)

Following your journey :)
Thanks man :)

Read your last one,and since im doing a niche website myself, this should be helpful. Good luck !
Awesome. I hope it will be helpful for you

Following this. Your journeys are always a grear motivator :)
Thats the idea behind my journeys (also accountability)

I will share whatever i will do :) And thanks a lot :)

Following, just want to clarify when you say starting from 0 are you going to use a fresh domain?
Yes. I am using a fresh domain :) (i have my keyword list in hand, now writers have started writing for the same)

I'm following this. I hope you become successful in building this new website. Good luck!

Following your journey. All the Best :)
Thanks :)
Definitely following @WebMinati 's journey. All the best to you!
Thank you :D
So, what happened to your previuos 1000/day website? Did it die at the end? Did you find out why?

If you are using fresh domain, please don't be shy to share your link building tactics along the way.. :)

All The Best. Following for sure
I sold the site, made 200k give or take(profit). Purchased stocks in a booming industry :)

Easy to archive when money on pockets.. :D
Maybe :) No money in pocket push is more interesting though :)

All the best for your journey bro.
Thank you
ok this is going to be another epic journey!

following this one and good luck!
Thanks :D

Always a pleasure to read your journeys
Awesome :D I hope it helps

Watching the thread! Looking to learn a lot from your joirney!
I hope :)

Awesome, once again, thanks for sharing! Best of luck for this new project, I’ll follow it closely!
Awesome. Thanks :)
Good luck. I'll be doing this in the future. Love the challenge
Thanks :) Challenges makes a person. I will have hard time growing this though. growing a site after 2 years. I mostly buy auctioned or older websites which are relatively easy to grow :p

Doing the same thing. Following.
Thanks and good luck.

Following this one for sure.
Awsome :)
Hell yeah, i'm following this.
awesome
Following your journey :)
Great
What is your link building strategy and how are you going to index your backlinks?
Guest posts mostly. Pbn to guest posts :)
I'm hella sure this one will take off exceptionally well.

Will it be another successful journey as the previous one and propel a second website up to the highs of $XX.XXX/month again?

Nobody knows, but would gladly watch that happen!

Following your journey, @WebMinati

Read his AMA thread right here

I think he has sold his website for approximately $400.000 back in late Novemeber or December, 2018

I don't have a monetary aim for this one but i want to make it into an awesome site that's all.

Will be following the entire way. Great way to stay accountable!
Yup :)

Following. Doing them same thing.. just been reading your other threads/posts - good luck with it
Thanks :0
Fuuukkinn shweeet! Another webminati journey! your first thread helped and inspired me to build my 1st site. Just had my 1st $125 dollar day on that site few days ago :)
Maybe I build nother 1 along side you.
Been wanting to do 1 in fitness niche :)

Goodluck man :) I bet you gonna kill it again this time too!
Fitness niche/ Keto and stuff are awesome af if you want to make quick bucks from ADs :D I have an ad which is making $2000-5000 a month (through google search ads). Almost 5X ROI. Scaling is a problem though :|

I read your last journey's front to back probably like 5 times already... Will follow this very closely for sure
Awesome.
I am following
Thanks
Good luck bro !
Thanks
another great @WebMinati journey to follow <3
:D Thanks
I thought you already had an authority site in the health niche competing with WebMD? Did something happen to it? Anyway, surely following this journey as well!
Yeah it was competing with WEBMD for some keywords :P Now webMD owns that niche. So time to move on ;)

Hey, I've read the whole previous thread and I have to say you're a IM god ;)
I have a question: when do you start linking? Are you waiting for some time? How much do you think the content needs to be on the page before I start linking?
greetings
Not an IM god lol. I am lucky noob that's all.
I start making links for my main articles as soon as i post it. I love getting diversity to inner pages. it gives them that extra omph before the pbns or guest posts :)

How did you build links?
Answered above :)
Following your journey.
Thanks
Following this journey.
Thanks
pretty close to how @WebMinati did in his old thread only tailored to my niche. Now i am more white hat though. Only pbns i use now are my own.
Great :D

congrats mate
Thanks
Good luck man! Following this for sure
Awesome.
Good luck again
Thanks
I know you can do it. Following your journey mate!
Thanks :) (i hope it is good)

Best of luck! I'm really wondering why you do prefer starting sites with fresh new domains? which definitely takes way longer to rank than starting out with an auctioned domain? Thanks :)

All the best bro, Following! Your Journeys are always inspiring!!

How much is your "old journey site" earning? Did you get hit by the August update?

Hey, thanks for your reply. I have re-read your ama and journey thread again + your guides here on bhw.
Do you think it is ok to use exact match kw when interlinking articles on your mani site? From sub article to main article in same category on the website?
Does your titles in your theme count as h1? If yes do you use it as H1 or do you use h1 once more with in the article?
Also have you ever tried to dominate 1 niche/keyword on page 1 with several websites?
Would be ok for few of them using the same adsense and google webmasters acc?

Hey, thanks for your previous answer. I have another question: just build links for pages that have to give you money? Whether for informative articles also build some links?
I apologize for poor English. I hope you understand what I mean.
greetings

Your previous thread really motivated me, following this another awesome one

Update:

Uploaded 13 articles today without images(info articles) . I am thinking of uploading 50 articles in next 3 months and start link building process asap. Have to get a graphic designer to design thumbs and infographics for the posts.

Site structure takes a lot of time :/

Already made 50 web2.0s and now i will start posting 1 article a day on these 50 web2.0s. These will point to the homepage of the site and i will use them as a buffer to boost my site over time.

So if i add 1 article of 300-500 words daily on different web2.0s daily. I will have enough articles on each web2.0 in 1 year and it will take a maximum of 10 mins daily to upload an article. I will give this task to a VA once i add my homepage link to these web2,0s.

Each web2.0 will cost around $30-50 in the long run but it's okay. As i will be making more than that a month :) 2019 SEO is more about quality. Quality is what i will strive for.

Expenses: $500 (till now)

Best of luck! I'm really wondering why you do prefer starting sites with fresh new domains? which definitely takes way longer to rank than starting out with an auctioned domain? Thanks :)
I am starting it on a fresh domain to lower my risks :) (I can 301 an auctioned domain once i find a good one. Niche related if possible)

All the best bro, Following! Your Journeys are always inspiring!!

Thanks man

How much is your "old journey site" earning? Did you get hit by the August update?
I sold my site before August then bought it back from the buyer. I was hit. Almost 1/4 income after that. But, everything came out to be good at the end. I got stocks in the company which i marketed the most (i get awesome dividends now) (he is handling the site as well)

Following this journey too, good luck :)
Thanks man :)

Yup it's alright to use exact match in your site. I usually just link with whatever feels right. I don't overthink about my internal linking. (i just try to interlink inside a silo)

Only 1 H1 per article. (i have heard that multiple h1 doesn't matter much, but this can be guru shit as well. Can't really say). I would recommend you to use 1 h1 only.

I usually try to dominate 1 niche with a lot of parasites and my own websites but it depends on niche as well. ( i have sites in closely related niches)

I use different gmail accounts/ webmasters for each site. I don't do adsense.

I start with building links to my homepage then i come to info pages and then boost the money articles. Slow and steady.

Take care of the link velocity though.

Good luck bro! I am a big fan!
Thanks :D
Following your journey.

That's awesome.

I recently started a fitness niche website and I will be following this thread. Good luck @WebMinati

Do you recommend to create our own web 2.0 or pay to get a link?

if you’re not using adsense what do you monetize your website with?

Not sure if I understood your web 2.0 strategy..
So now you have 50 web20 in place. And now you gonna place the link in all of them pointing to your homepage. How many links a day?
And then once it's done you giving those web 2.0 to your VA and he is gonna add 1 article a day (Wtihout any links) to a random web20 everyday
Right?

That's awesome.
Hey Webminati,

This will be fun. keeps me motivated.
so here is my first question.
What Anchor text ration will you use on your web 2.0's (out of 50) will you use your main or partial match keyword on any of them ?

@WebMinati Great journey so far!

About your web2.0s:
Do you use different web2.Os or some may be on the same web2.0 with different subdomains?
How many links from each web2.0 to your money site?
What links do you build to your web2.0s?

I got stocks in the company which i marketed the most (i get awesome dividends now) (he is handling the site as well)

Solid. You went from getting penalized to holding stocks within the span of a few months.

Hey, thank you for posting yet another journey.
You said this:

We will make more trust at first(setting up google properties and GMB can help you gain a lot of trust), So i am in process of doing all that. (have to update an author page with all the EAT information and whatnot :p)
  • Do you put a physical location of your website on google maps?
  • Do you use an author box at the end of the article to increase the EAT score?
Thanks!

While I am at it I thought of one more question.

Should one (1) 5 Page web 2.0 only point towards one url .
What I mean is that if i have 5 pages on a web2.0 should I link to 5 different pages of my website or just use all 5 pages to point go 1 single page/url.

Should I keep 1 web 2.0 of 5 page seperately for a certain url

like for example if i have a domain about Precious Metals
I have pages on my Website "Gold" "Silver" "Ruby" "Diamond"

Now I created Four (4) - 5X page web2.0's
1 for Gold
1 for Silver
1 For Ruby
1 for Diamond

or should I mix it up

for example a 5 page web 2.0 has 5 pages
so I point 1 to gold, 1 to silver 1 to ruby
mix it up

or

just keep all 5 pages of web 2.0 to gold
lol hopefully you understand the quesion
