The story
I was one of the first to review his adult PBN package. As you can see in my https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/rank-your-adult-sites-with-high-quality-adult-pbn-backlinks-all-sites-tf-cf-at-least-15.1002758/page-3#post-10811232, his service was “OK”.
So awhile later I decided to give him a shot on a network I’m building. I decided to split test link providers on different domains I had built. Menoah’s service was one I tried again because of my previous experience with him.
On September 17th, we agreed on 30 links for $410 to be spread out over 3 months. I sent payment the same day.
The waiting begins
In October (18 days later), I notice that no new links are appearing in my WMT or ahrefs. I follow-up with Menoah to see what’s going on. No articles have been posted yet. I keep following-up every few days.
First Results
November 15th (2 months later), I get 4 screenshots of posts containing my links. 2 of them were posted days before and 2 are scheduled to publish in the future.
I ask him how many links total are live. He avoids my question.
End of December
It has now been more than 3 months. I follow-up with Menoah to see what’s going on. No communication from him and only the 4 links he showed screenshots too show up in WMT. I get some excuses that he is moving hosts and promises links in January.
January
On January 16th, still no news or new links appear in my WMT. I am told I now have 10 links live and articles are ready for the other links. I give him an ultimatum: Deliver the links before January 31st or refund me. He agrees.
January 30th, suspecting again that nothing has happened, I follow-up. I am told they will all be live tomorrow (January 31st).
Radio silence.
February
February 3rd, after complete radio silence for 3 days after his due date, I am told I can expect screenshots within 24-48 hours (more stalling?). I tell him that this is his last chance. If by the 5th, I don’t have all links, I want a refund. He agrees.
On February 4th, he sends me two more screenshots from two new sites. I ask him if he can send more screenshots. I am suspicious that he hasn’t done the work.
He sends me two more screenshots. This is where my suspicions start to be confirmed: The 2nd screenshot is from the SAME SITE he sent me the day before, he made a new post on the same site and tried to pass it off as an original site link.
I confront Menoah and share with him my skepticism. I ask him for proof of work for all 30 links. He refuses.
I ask him to at least send me blurred screenshots. He refuses again.
He also refuses to give me a refund.
My Claim
I have received 8 blurred screenshots of where my links are live. 2 of those screenshots are from the same site. That makes a total of 7 sites out of 30 that I am paid to have links on.
Coincidently, the screenshotted links are the ONLY links that appear in my WMT and Ahrefs link profiles. Nothing else does. I find it very odd that the only indexed links are the ones he sparingly screen-shotted AFTER i had to chase him down for proof.
My suspicion is that he can’t deliver his service and made a half-assed attempt at pretending like he did so he won’t have to refund me.
I have given him enough time and chances to accomplish the work. I am fed up waiting. He claims to have delivered all the work but refuses to provide any proof. I am requesting at least a $315 refund for the links that were not delivered. I believe that is fair despite the many delays for a service non-rendered.
For the mods, I can provide you with screenshots of the links, site metrics, as well as the urls of the links that were delivered as proof to backup my claims.
