Graphic design tools for ads and pictures for website?

What tools would you recommend for long term practice for ads and visual content for website design?

Would appreciate hearing free and paid options.

Canva - Great tool for creating banners with a 14 day free trial and a small learning curve. Noobie friendly for sure.
Photoshop - The obvious choice. Only downfall is its learning curve as it's pretty difficult for beginners to get the hang of.

Have to check Snappa. I use piktochart, but it feels too limited. Might have to figure something around photoshop. Hoping to be able to ''duplicate'' some cool visuals like this.

Affinity Photo is good too if you don't want to pay a subscription fee.

if you want to make only once try canva.com's trial 14 day, but if you want to do more and more banners and learn all this i recommend Adobe Photoshop.
