Hello BHW friends,
Is this a good time with micro niche site in 2019 for adsense monetize? I'm really new to SEO. Please share your opinion. Borrowed some money from my friend to invest. My budget $200 at this moments.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on a niche. You should create a plan and do basic predictions to calculate ROI (at least some ballpark figure). I'd not rely on Adsense only nowadays, you might consider some other ways to monetize it as well (like affiliate programs).

if you are new and dont know what you are doing then don't invest money, first learn something and enter into some low comp niche so you can earn some money (not quickly but definitely).

Probably not. Adsense pay seems pretty mediocre. Can't see it worth anything to any one except an authority site.

The truth is that Google prefers bigger brands nowadays. Starting a MNS site in 2019 is, in my opinion, a project that is doomed to fail :).

Unless you go for a very specific niche (untapped, at least to certain extend), I'd not recommend going for MNS

You could use other means to generate income, making a microniche site in itself is a fine idea.

Thank you all for your comments.

Hi @Kikernika, I was planning to buy a service from BHW. they told me they will provide decent amount of monthly search volume and with highest CPC rate and low competition keywords. But after seeing your post. I'm not understanding what to do. doesn't google rank this kinds of sites anymore?

Yes, exactly as you wrote--Google does not rank them anymore.
Or, to be more precise, you still can rank a new MNS is 2019, but the time and amount of work it takes is at least tenfold, when compared to 2014, for example.
And that's simply not worth the effort with MNS site - you won't make of it enough money to pay for the expenses...

Go for an authority site if you want to go into the content game, or aim for another business model that is easier in 2019 in IM.

Solid. I will follow your instruction. Can you suggest me which kinds of authority sites can be better in this year? Affiliate or others?

Could you be so kind and define to me what's the difference between MNS and niche authority site? In that I mean, these terms get thrown around quite often, people saying it doesn't work and all, yet people are still creating these affiliate sites, monetized by Clickbank and making bank.

In other words... is 20-30 page site on a specific topic ( let's say dog training or detox ) is an authority site or a MNS ?

I would appreciate your answer a lot :)

Micro niche site might work if you are going for some product with high value per one purchasion it might be awesome

What are you even talking about. Micro sites worked works and will work no matter what year it was is will be. I spent 1year and invested 2kusd together and made 50k profit. That's 4k per month. And half of the year I was living in home doing nothing with 2k per month.

Dont discourage the guy because of your thinking. Of course it's not Quick money, but it's solid as Rock.

Good to know that micro niche sites still work and make money !
someone told me that those sites dont worth it anymore .. but i can see that a lot of people here are making tons of money out of them.

There's a lot of competition out there, but if you work hard and have excellent content, I'm sure you'll make it. Also make sure to choose a lucrative niche. Good luck!

What year did you do this though?

Also do you mind perhaps broadly sharing your strategy?

Thank you, I ask because i was close to investing $$$$ on MNS as well

Last year. Sold the site on August. Nothing changes by the year, you just need to keep learning, thats all.

Authority is not about monetization method (Amazon or other). It is about quality of content, and scope of the website. It is about BRAND. You check TOP10 results for any half-decent keyword, in any half-decent niche, and you will find that 9 out of 10 websites in top 10 are authority sites. that means big sites, with regular updates, with real authors (or user contributions), sites that deliver actual value, sites people bookmark and come back to.

Many people claim a lot of things (following a variety of interests, for example, trying to promote their own CB product, or service on BHW). But you can check the SERP and see for yourself. People who are making a bank with Clickbank may have MNSites, but their traffic is not organic. They work with pay traffic, and that's a different game altogether.
Dog training or detox is a very broad niche. It's not MNS. You can make 1,000 articles/vidoes about dog training, and everything that belongs to it--that would be an authority site. MNS will be more like--10 Most Advnaced Tricks your Border Collie can learn :).

I'm writing only from my experience. Don't arguing with anyone. You also have to consider the position of the original poster (their skills in IM and where they are on their jourtney), when giving advice to them.
