decent search volume means how many searches per month?

Ordered $5 trial.
TAT time was supposed to be within 24 hours but delivered 1 hour late, slightly irritating.
As for the keywords...
Here's the 5 they gave me:

I had ordered the gig and got keywords ranging from 50 to 250 search volume. I've placed a 1500 word article based on this.....its been a couple of days.....waiting it to rank

Thanks for sharing your experience, the volumes reported by us include Global Search Volumes, whereas I think LongTailPro is showing you just the US volumes, you can check the accuracy of the volumes and Keyword competition using KWFinder, they provide 5 free searches / day.
To be honest, no keyword research tool currently provides accurate figures for keyword competition, which is why I recommend taking a look at the search results for the keywords suggested, if you find that you're up against sites with 'thin-content' and results that are not relevant to readers, it means you have an opportunity to outrank them.
In your case, there were numerous results dominated by sites such as Indeed.com, Glassdoor & Pinterest, which despite their 'High Authority' have 'thin-content' and fail the relevance test.
