I plan to make a porn site. Porn is legal in my country, and I will only embed videos.
Can I be in trouble if I give my real info to registrar and hosting?

i would suggest not to do it even if it was legal, you never know what might go wrong and its always better not to have your real name attached to it.

As everyone else said, I suggest you not to use your real name.
I accidentally put my real name when I registered and I regret it greatly.
I have been getting many phone calls from website site building advertisers and they always go like: "Hi, is this (My name) and do you own (porn name).com?"
It feels so awkward and I believe I f*ed up big time haha

From what I read here, they will try to contact me via form or email, or mess up with the hosting povider. (so I guess having an offshore hosting would help)

They won't get my details through affiliates, will they? (I haven't read anyone being wanted that far but who knows)

People dealing with porn are far from being professional businessman. A few years ago half of an adult marketing forum wanted to catch me but they are just noobs in terms of internet business and everything around it. You don't need to worry to much but there is still a change that everything can happen. Cloak your ass as much as possible, don't ignore DMCA and you might be fine.

- use offshore hosting
- put dmca contact info on your website and do not ignore dmca emails or make it difficult to contact you
- if you are in the US for register a DMCA agent and let users upload videos not you
- also if you are in the US or any other western country dont use bitcoin to receive money get it using paypal to your business account , tax evasion is much worst than copyright violations
