It looks better, does it work?

It checks any domains. Just go to grab/check >> check unregistered domains (this is in the main scrapebox window in the upper right hand quadrant)

in fact i already try that.. but some return status TLD not found ... some domain with status TLD not found is .xyz,.online,.top and .club

Some Tlds will not work. Scrapebox uses WHOIS data to determine if a domain is registered or not.

First it does a GET request and if the page loads, obviously its not available. If it doesn't resolve then scrapebox does a WHOIS Check.

Some registrars return the same data for every single domain whether or not its registered. This problem is made worse by GDPR. For example, I tried to build in .club. However .club returns the same data and just says its all redacted, even for unregistered domains it shows them as having a creation and change date of when .club its self was created as a registry.

So unless the GET response succeeds scrapebox is unable to accurately determine if the domain is available or not.

In fact GDPR will probably cause WHOIS to pretty much be useless and go away over time. It was already something they were working on for years to standardize it and make data private, but GDPR pretty much put the nail in that coffin. So in years to come I expect that WHOIS usefulness as well as functions and tools built around it, all tools, not just scrapebox, will be diminished in effectiveness if not depreciated entirely.

I don't work for Scrapebox, and thats just my opinion. However specifically to your questions, for some smaller tlds scrapebox won't be able to provide you with the accurate info for all domains.

nicely explained...

Is there any chance that you will resurrect the old Availability checker?
The one that used to check for actual availability and not just error/html codes.
For example, the old Add-on had login enabled for wWeebly

Tried the old 1.6 V, but it seems the addon is outdated as it's not able to login to weebly and on Tumblr, it gives false output.

Tumblr never logged in that I recall and it never tried to register them I know for sure. The weebly was not as it seemed, it didn't try and register them, it was just able to login and thus check pages. But they found away around having to login thats just as accurate.

Tumblr is just harder then ever to find good ones because its so sought after and tumblr bans so many domains now from being registered.

Thanks. :)

I have no problem getting hundreds of good Tumblrs as I can check directly for registration with another tool.
However, the Weebly set-up (with login) on 1.6 was really good.

I don't understand when you say that they found a way around having to login that is just as accurate. It's not. The current weebly check can only indicate which weebly is 404 (not found, not published) or 200. And out of those not found probably below 1 in 1000 is available.

Can you give me some examples of specific urls?

You want sample from my list?
I can PM you a few hundreds. Dead, live, freshly scraped.
Or you want an example like username2018.weebly.com?

A few examples of weebly urls that are indicated perhaps avaialble by scrapebox but are not.

Is it a case that weebly has blocked them from being reigstered, like tumblr or why is a 404 weebly not availalbe?

There was a pagerank checker feature in earlier versions, is it still available ?

Might want to google page rank....

It pretty much died in 2013 when they stopped updating it, but google put the final nail in the coffin in 2016 (If I recall, its been a long time). No tool in the world can get page rank, because google doesnt' share it any longer, hasn't for years now. There are other metric tools such as the page authority addon which uses moz and yandex tic etc... Also the metrics checker and expired domain finder work with majestic and dom detailer.

Yes, it is the same case as checking Tumblr for 404.
Because some of those are banned and never made available for re-registration.

Here are 2 examples:
http://gulencharterschools.weebly.com
http://diogen.weebly.com

Decent PA and TF, but they are banned from getting re-registered.

Ok, I mean I guess Im lost then. Even when weebly logged in it was just doing basic checking, it wasn't trying to register or anything. I think the login was only to allow bulk checking of the urls, as if you were not logged in it just wouldnt tell you if it was even like 404, if i recall. Something like that.

At any rate, I can tell you that the vanity checker is only meant to do the 404 kind of checking and nothing more. I mean you can of course customize it for more then 404 specifically of course.

I know they actually get a lot of people that complain because they think its supposed to register and it doesn't. Its only meant as a basic check. Ill pass it on to them and they read this tread, but its like the 4000th time I have had someone ask to make it so it registers but thats not something they want to get into.

I am not asking for it to register it for me. It never had that function.
Just to login to the account and check if the username is Available or not. Just like in the 1.6 V.
If you download V1.6 or you have it installed already, you can see that on Weebly it asks for a Weebly account.

Hi;

will be there any new year deals? Because I want to buy but cannot afford with Expired Domain and Email Scraper because i live in poor country. Just start learning new things to earn money.

Thanks <3

I would like to know can you scrape tweets from a specific account with ScrapeBox ? If yes, how can I do it ?

I will pass it on to the dev team to have a look at.

There are no new year deals that I am aware of.

Im not sure, but you could try using the custom data scraper. Video below. You would need to load in the exact urls with the tweets.

This has been added to the Vanity Checker v2.1.0.18, you just need to edit the definition and add your User and Pass to the section that says

username=
password=

And resave and it will login to check the availability of the blogs.

Also just a reminder, with holiday season upon us and many people getting new computers to be sure you have backed up your ScrapeBox license details. You need to know your Email and Transaction ID you originally activated with in order to transfer your license to another PC. Increasingly people are not bothering to save their information, and dont remember their email address or even their own name they purchased with.

So please save your license data to ensure you dont lose access to your license.
