I purchased a site some weeks ago with the intention of making a news site. Looking at how saturated the niche is I think I can use it for something else.
What idea can you give please? As I want to start it's development ASAP.

Really I bought it to start a news site but lost interest due to the proliferated amount of news site around.
I just want to know any other purpose it can serve.

I hope you didn't pay much for that OP. Honestly, that would take you 10-20 minutes to do yourself.

You could still do news and try driving Reddit traffic but you'd have to build out your site and a few accounts on reddit.
