Everything was going fine with my site but suddenly from last month, my site got a massive decrease in the total number of keywords.
upload_2018-10-25_9-53-50.png Previously the total number of kw was 2k.

And my main keywords which were ranking in top 10 jumped to 50+ ranking positions.

From my end I think the disappearance of the created links was the factor (but I am not sure though)

Here is the current situation.

I didn't got any message on my webmaster tools or any type of warning.

What should I do to recover from this ? Do i find some related expired domain and post it everything their and redirect the current articles by 301 to new domain ?

What should I do plz help

Google penalty.

Have you bought any PBN links? the best thing to do here is check your links manually and find out if there are bad links (which is most likely the problem) then you should disavow them.

Of course it can be other things as well but check those links first.

Yes i have bought PBN links from here.

If you buy a back-link that anyone can buy you can be sure it will be considered as spam at some point and hit your site.

PBN links can help you rank your site for a few weeks, sometimes months but never buy it for a site you want to develop long term...

Yea just check those links, most likely those PBNs are gone, talk to the seller, find out what happened. If it is the links and they are deindexed, I'd start disavowing them

It may be a content issue. how often do you update your site?

It maybe is affected by recent GG updates especially if you are in the health niche

No I am not in health niche. My site can be broadly classified in travel niche.

The site is full of 50 posts with most of them are between 3000-5000 words. I don't think it's a content issue.

Links from PBN's are indexed though.
I have talked to the seller and the seller told me this
"The network is fine so we doubt that the links had anything to do with it - Google has done another algo update and lots of people got hit because of it.
However, we'll be happy to take down your links if you wish."

I am quite confused about what to do with this. Will redirecting my current site to new domain by proper article by article 301 redirect to the new site helps ?

What are your opinions guys

It could be anything.
You even bought PBN links so how do you expect anyone to guess it.

The seller told that their network is safe at the moment. I understand its hard to guess what happened to it without even seeing the site. . Even I didn't got a single message in webmaster tool . I heard when google finds you using PBN or anything similar they message in webmaster about the issue. But I didn't got a single msg.

I just want to know what to do next to recover from this as my main keywords slapped from 1st rank to 50+ ranks.

Will redirecting the site to a new domain helps in gaining ranking back ?

Was the pbn package bought by you a cheap one ($1 or $1.5) ?? Or was it a premium one ?

The can still be indexed but might be crazy spammed. Please check those links by yourself to make sure it isn't PBN related.

Depends. I know someone who redirected his site to a really powerful domain. His income jumped from $300 to $10,000/month. He spent a ton of money on the domain and really did his due diligence to make sure the domain is clean and powerful.

In my case, I planned to redirect my site to another auctioned domain, but I figured I should fix my site's issues before resorting to this method. I still have a lot of keywords ranking on the 1st to 4th page so maybe improving everything on my site will solve the problem.

I think you bought cheap low-quality links. They disappeared over time. I recommend that you build quality backlinks. This situation will not happen.

The diversification package falls under the low quality links i think. But PBN were premium $200 for 10 links.

Have a look at the ranking

All of these keywords were in under top 10 and most of them were on top 3
