Hello everyone, I want to start this journey in order to do some test and keep myself motivated. It's not my first time with Shopify, I know how to set up a store, choose products and a bit of promoting. This last thing it's the most tricky I think, you must choose the right influecer, the right fb ad, etc.. everyone can set up a store, it's quite straightforward.
I'm not going to tell you the sub-niche, just let you know that I will be dropshipping cloth and accessories from such anonymous sub-niche. I thought about this journey because I actually work for a company that sells cloths from very expensive brands (alexander mcqueen, saint laurent, giuseppe zanotti, etc.. (i won't be selling stuff from such brands, lol)).
Let's get things down.
Things I need and things I have
First of all I'll create and finish the store. I'll add as many products as I can, but I prefer to focus on quality over quantity. I did a bit of research while my launch break at job (offline job), so I didn't spend a lot of time (30 minutes). I saw quite few HQ products, so I bookmarked them for when I'm coming home. Next thing is the Instagram page, I want to make it look the most professional thing I've ever made. I don't really know if it's a good thing to buy fake followers to make it look "legit", like 10k followers or even more. I have aged accounts to use, maybe I can use them to redirect followers to a "main" page that I won't add to the bot. Waiting for suggestions about this. The bot will be follow follower's of pages with at least 15% engagement rate. I won't DM, at least for a period of time. A thing that I would like to try (to get real followers) is to DM people with "Hey! We noticed that you could be a potential influencers for our new cloth brand. Promote our store in your story and/or post and we will send you discounts code and free stuff to try!". In that case I will be targeting people with a good amount of followers and that looks "cool", obv.
The next thing is to pay influecers (15% engagement rate) and see what happens. I'll try to do a very deep research for that, it's useless to pay random people only because they have a great engagement rate, I need to know more details about their page.

Since I work offline, I can't really follow this schedule 100%, but I'll do my best.
22/10/18 (today): I'm going to search for a brand's name, I want to spend quite a bit on that. Next, I'm going to set up the boring stuff such as shipping, taxe... etc. If you wonder why I don't do that as the first thing, it's because I want to use my last creativity "fuel" in order to search for that fucking brand's name. If I still have some creativity for that day, I'll create the logo. It will be almost the same for the shopify store and the IG page. That's it for today.
23/10/18: Before setting up the theme, I'll search for some (not many products at the beginning) products and import them (with name, price, etc..). My aim is to give theme a brandish name, example: a coat won't be named "Leather brown coat", but "Énigme" (it's a french word). Why? It gives them uniqueness and make look worthy. This is going to be my task for that day. Idk if I'll do more, but I don't think.
24/10/18: Now I have some products to test my theme, so I'm going to set it up. It must be FAST, especially on mobile phones, since my traffic will be basically only from there. I think I'll spend 2 days to set up the theme, because it also includes creating some banners, so I'll need to use photoshop and canva (and creativity
).
25/10/18: This day I'll finish the theme set up. I'll have some products and I'll add some more. If I'm not too tired, I'll start creating the IG page and search some niche based pages to use as source to get followers (with the bot). Since I decided the brand's name, I'll also buy the domain, there's no need to buy it before (if someone "steals" it, then my decision to buy it this day was bad).
26/10/18: So, theme ok, domain name ok, boring stuff ok. This day I have to decide if buying fake followers or not. Meanwhile I'm going to finish the pages research and put them on my bot. During this day I'll maybe get some followers. For obvs reason, my store will be Online and the link in bio, so few people will maybe see it. I'm not expecting any sale, obv (1 sale would be like an huge thing tho, but it's too hard in that initial stage).
27/10/18: Adding more products and banners. I'll start searching for some good influencers that I'll pay to promote a product. So I also have to decide what product to promote, I can't let them sponsor my whole store, because people can't have the "visual impact" in the story or post. I'll choose a great product and make it look even better with some text and fancy graphic. It must look like gold but cost like sand, so you get what I mean.
Those are the basic things, obv nothing will be stopped after 27/10/18, lol. It's just the beginning. I'll update quite constantly. If you have tips or more things I should add (for sure there are more things, but I'll add them gradually) feel free to write them down! Also, if you have questions, let me know.

- VPS for the bot: OK. I'm really happy with @feezioxiii VPS, so I want to suggest everyone to, at least, check it out! It's very cheap and works well.
- Logo: Needed (I go really hard with this, 1) because I love making good logos, 2) because it's your brand's face, literally)
- Something else: I will add something if needed
