I plan to hire 10 rewriters who is college level and pay them $3 per rewrite and try to run a blog, you think over time this blog can become profitable?

you think over time this blog can become profitable?

That depends on a lot of things.

However, if you're asking whether manually rewritten content would rank or not, yes, it's possible to rank with manually rewritten content.

Yes, it can become profitable over time, provided you have other things in place like traffic, conversion system.

Depends on rest of your site, how you're monetizing content, selected keywords etc

Why weren't your original blog posts doing well?

yeah. its depends upon the niche, keywords, content, site traffic etc. if you do some hard work you can do it.

Given the right amount of SEO, yes, those blogs are profitable. :)

Of course, you can make it profitable. Rewritten content that's been done by hand, and not produced by a software, can rank high. However, that also depends on other factors - on-page SEO, for one; the quality of content, traffic, link building, etc.

If you do the SEO aspect properly, yes, it will be profitable over time. But I'd say you should still consider the quality of the rewritten content (even if done manually).

Sure, any kind of blog can be profitable if you can get it ranked. But in my experience re-writing (doing it properly) takes almost as much time as writing original stuff, plus you lose the opportunity to make a better guide or whatever than whoever you are copying from.

If your $3 writers are any good, then you're onto a winner.

Profit depends on your monetizing method and marketing strategy.

Hiring people to do bland rewrites on the cheap is satisfactory for tier I properties (like Web 2.0s pointing to your blog), but your actual site should have well written, highly engaging original content. Instead of 10 re-writers at $3/article, you'd be better off hiring 2 good writers at $10/article for your main site, plus one rewriter to spin articles and edit them for flow, to put on your tier I urls.

$3 per article? How many articles do you want to rewrite?. I don't know what is your country but let's say that working at mc-Donalds is around $10 x hour. Editing an article (a proper spinning) could take an hour (copy the article, then read it and edit, then giving format and so on), and I am discarding to use new images. So, you are paying less than working at McDonalds. Even if editing the article takes half an hour, then you are penny-pinching so much.

many people make thousands a month doing exactly what your talking about.

waaaay less hassle to just get into affiliate marketing.
can make alot more money by freelancing those referral bonuses...
I know dripcoin d0t net has 20% commission for life,
120 satoshi per claim.
just refer 1000 people to them, and sit back and rake in the dough lol/

You need to have a monetization plan ahead.

Whether you're doing Adsense, Affiliate Marketing or CPA offers.

Without context nobody can give a more comprehensive advice.

Also, by saying 'profitable overtime', it depends on what's your goal. $10k total in 12 months? $100k in 3 months?

I agree with what he said 3 is too low. united states are raising minimum wage. California and other places would be 15 dollars an hour in a couple of years

In many other countries, say Philippines, $3 rate is not too bad.

rewriting 10 articles a day doesn't have anything to do with the profit you make. You are better of adding 1 high quality article a day (1500-1800) words and slowly creating multiple backlinks to it.
