Hey,

I was growing an Instagram account around 100-200 followers per day. I was only reposting a viral niche videos - on my phone. Everything was done by my hand except I've run autorounds on a Fuelgram. (engagement groups)

It worked smoothly - gaining followers day by day since I hit almost 3000 and I got the message that I need to enter my phone number to secure my account.

I entered mine number.

After this one, my organic reach went down by 80-90%. What is that? Is that some Instagram update or did somebody reported me? Anything else?

I've been giving credits all the time.

You've been shadowbanned mate, most likely.

Check if your posts are displayed for hashtags you put inside them.

If not, give the account a complete rest for 14-21 days and then start again although speaking from my own experience, you should volume down the number of daily actions at least for the first few weeks.

Good luck!

Thats basically what happened to me except now I have created a new account. I suspect they identified you as someone breaking the TOS with the autorounds and decided to give you a phone verification. If you do it, then they simply lower your reach. If you didn't, they might have banned the acc. Thats what I think anyway.

Thats because youre using fuelgram, unless it gave you a message that a post was removed for violating community guidelines.

I will try this. Thanks! Have this happened to you?

Okay, and is there a way how to get back on the normal reach or is it a permanent thing?

On the other account, I got the message that somebody reported the content I've used (I gave a wrong credit)... But not on this one.

Yeah, you were right. I am not ranking for any of the hashtags.

Yup, so that's your answer to why you've experienced such a drop in engagement.

As said previously, give the account a full 14 days rest and start again.

Make sure you change hashtags for each post, you can have 20-30 hashtags but make sure it's not 30 every time and not the same ones as well (at least change syntax).

Okay, I will try. Do you mean that 14 days without posting as well?
