Need a Instagram growth strategy.

I have a personal travel accounts and a travel repost/feature account and I will would like to have a plan/strategy for getting more followers and reaches as dm groups are not working anymore since the new Instagram algorithm.

Have to be more specific than that. You want free strategies or the ones where you have to pay for? Out of free strategies there isn't much left besides trying to create viral content yourself. I've noticed that if I grab a crazy post early on before a ton of other accounts repost it, it can get me up to 90K views but that's still not much.

If you are looking at paid then I've seen plenty of strategies for that type of growth on here but they are probably in marketplace section.

I can use some help with this as well. I know there is a lot of companies out there where they sell you followers, packages with views, comments, likes...but I don´t really trust these websites. I wonder how some instagram accounts have sooo many followers and if they are genuine.

Use HQ content and post regularly, engage with other similar accounts regularly which are of similar size as of yours, try to participate in groups with same or similar interests, ask your friends and family to participate and engage with your account, try different types of viral content strategies with different type of content and use captions which would eventually make others comment on your content, engage with followers so they would engage back in return and it would help you to keep your engagement high, use relevant hashtags of appropriate posts so you can grab some juice from hashtags, use locations and tag comparitively bigger relevant pages in your post with their mentions in caption too and use every possible feature of instagram. This should surely help you boost growth.

Doing a travel account aswell. It's a bit niched but not that much. I'm using "Instazood" to automatically like/comment related hashtags.
What I'm doing so far :

• Reposting HQ photo
• Good caption (it helps a lot for engagement)
• A good profile picture (it helps when they see your username in their feed)
• A good profile caption (what you're posting, tell them to tag you, etc)
• One or two posts a day
• Answer to as many people as possible
• Try to keep your followers/following ratio as big as possible (accounts that are following thousands of people look less attractive, atleast to me).
• Try to engage with similar accounts as someone suggested above
• Try to use attractive captions with questions, "tag a friend that you'd bring here", "did you know that..." It's working for me.

My journey with this account is pretty new. I'm around 2k followers only right now and I'm aiming 5k by the end of the year. Maybe I'll do a sort of website linked to it but I've got no idea of what I should put on it for the moment. (if anyone has tips I think we would be glad to hear )

Go to the explore page and find account you want to in a dm group and say I have a 50k dm group want to join etc
