If someone got ripped off on BHW via a sales thread or a deal done on BHW there is a remedy for that.

The rules are fairly straight forward. Anything that happens ON BHW is regulated by BHW.
Anything that does not happen on BHW is NOT regulated by BHW.

Should those that make BHW policy choose to do that then a staff member can step in and operate in an official capacity.
So recently at the beginning of the month I purchased WeBuildTools latest FB Like Jacker.
In the email it said pre order the like jacker for 200 dollar the release date would be August 23 2018. The email claimed that the 200 dollars was a one time offer and would go up to 400 once the product is released.
Since then the release date went from august 23rd to august 30th and as of today august 31st the product still has yet to be released with no updates from the developer. Its also after business hours in the united kingdom (his location) so I don't expect to hear updates today.
The last update which was August 22nd 5:55pm only a few hours before the original release date stated that there were bugs and we would be "kept in the loop the next coming days". There has yet to be any updates since.
I know shezboy was an "Elite Member" on the forums and I have no problem waiting for the product to be properly released but the lack of communication is really concerning me especially after spending $200.00.
Has anyone else purchased the product?

I didn't purchase anything, and I am a new member so I don't know how you guys have historically dealt with people that are (maybe) scamming off-site. However, would a badge that said something along the lines of "Trade with Caution" be a potential solution? Only to be given in unique circumstances of course, and in this circumstance I would definitely say more proof is needed. If he is not actively selling on BHW then it wouldn't be a big deal to give him this, and he could repeal it at his leisure. BHW members who saw his old thread or profile would at least know not to risk dealing with him off site.

We don't regulate the whole WWW.
It's quite simple, if you are on anyones mailing list, you buy from them at your own behest , pay by credit card / Paypal you have that peace of mind. As we have said several times, we can only run a Shitlist if the purchase was made here on the forum.
This is why we try to drill into people who post in WTB or HAF, not to take the conversation onto Skype etc and do the deal there.
If a member who had a sales thread, isn't active on such a huge forum, doesn't keep his BST thread(s) open, then doesn't that say something ?
If they can't afford the $97 a year for VIP and $30 a year for BST while selling $300 items....... It's not rocket science.
