I have three questions. Can you rank Pinterest pages as parasites. How many pins can you safely add per day. How many people can you safely follow per day?

Honestly dude, I don't even know what a parasite is. I add 90 pins per account per day without fail, I try and keep it under 100. However only the first 5 pins will typically be shown to your followers by Pinterest. That's why hashtags are important. I'm not sure what the follow limit is anymore as I don't do it. It used to be 300 and then it went down to around 150 before hitting limits. It's been a long time since I have followed anyone on Pinterest though so I have no idea what their current follow/unfollow limits are.

Your pinterest does not get 800k visits. Pinterest are as bad as Facebook for making the numbers seem a lot higher than they are.

All that means is that you had 800k impressions. As all we all know if you tried to purchase 800k visits to something it would cost you a lot of money, 800k impressions would cost a fraction of that amount, which speaks to their value. It means fuck all! There are tons of pins on a page and its easy to scroll down for two seconds and see a hundred pins. Do you click on them all? No. Do you read them all? No. Do you pay attention to most of them? No

Its a pointless metric.

If you want more clicks increase your promotion, its that simple. Set up automated posts to your boards and to group boards every day. post more of your blog posts to relevant places. Join interaction groups where people will pin your posts if you pin theirs etc.

I want to say if in truth that metric is real 50k, I am receiving 3k per month a% 7 of real visitors to my blog, I only have to increase my commitment with my audience?

I would say your English is good, it's far from very bad. I would just concentrate on getting more pins up in more relevant sections and you should see all of the metrics climb. I dont think any of the metrics on Pinterest can be trusted though. Pinterest is a set and forget kind of thing, just make sure you have a lot of pins in the right places and move on to other advertising methods.

I'm currently getting back in to Pinterest marketing after a huge break, and am finding pins without link or description, plus very unique are getting the most traffic. I'm also finding directly uploaded pins also do better.

I agree that there is some form of sand box and it can take a few months for a pin to mature, but what are your thoughts of pins with very little information getting a boost by Pinterest as they try and discover what the pin represents and what niche is should be in. An increase of impressions in the related image section?

Also most top pins lead to pages that are image-free, very short and with no outbound links..also plagiarized...So they seem to be doing the opposite of what makes sense and favor shitty pins. I wonder if pins made in Paint get more distribution than those made in Photoshop

I use Photoshop to make images unique with various filters, but the pins that gain traction the quickest are ones screen grabbed with lightshot from Facebook posts? My feeling is pins without links or description get a boost because they have no negative algorithm filters working against them, a big one being domain authority, as google+, twitter and facebook seem to be the best domains to use for a simple lander, plus wordpress, blogger and tumblr have lost favor.

or you just post the same pic when you have nothing to post?

I researched a bit but I have not found a definitive answer, I want to create some niche sites with amazon affiliates and I want to get pinterest traffic to the blog but also directly.
my question is, does pinterest or amazon forbid if I put my amazon affiliate link directly on my pins?

No, they will not. Affiliate marketing is allowed.

I can't agree with that statement about old pins.
You probably use one or two accounts and you get to see the same/similar content all the time.
New pins can and do perform great. Also, they perform great with links.

Just try everything that comes to your mind until you find great Pinterest strategy (for yourself).

I'm not sure I have not really tested it with no descriptions or info in there.

No you can put links in there but I do think that can work against the pin in some cases. I know if I was Pinterest I would have created an algo to combat affiliate spammers.

Hi there, I hope things are going well for you.

1) I dont use any sort of bot to invite, it only takes a few seconds so that part I do manually.
2) I dont use any plugins either However if I were to scrape content i would have someone here on BHW make me a custom scraper. I have worked with some people here on BHW and will be happy to give you a recommendation.

They are important. It's like general website SEO, the more you tell the bots and machines in the background what something is the more likely they are to show it to people searching for it. I take a few moments to think up a description. I also invite people to follow me in the description and ask them to check out my profile for info on how to become a contributor to the board etc.

There are lots of ways that have been discussed in the three pinterest threads I have started. Take a look at those and you should find lots of useful info. The best way is to look at what is popular and pin it to boards you make on your own profile. Don't worry about followers, repins are what you want and to get those you need to share content people like. Putting up a boring picture of a product and expecting people to repin or click on it just wont happen.

I've been working slowly at growing our Pinterest board, (we are an ecom company) it gets roughly 6,100 unique views per month - not much I know but I've grown it from 130 views, most of the posts that get saved / repined are the blogs (and I've not had time to update the blog in over 12 months due to expanding the business) I have all of our products listed on there but I hardly see any kind of return or sales lead from them.

At the moment I feel the blogs get more weight vs a product pin. What if anything do I need to do to start seeing some kind of sales from Pinterest?

Open ended question I guess and I suppose I need to be creating more blogs that are getting the interest BUT ideally Id like sales rather than content share or does that come hand in hand?

I got a plugin what posts automatic on Pinterest every post I make it on my blog.
A few times a day I login manual from my home ip on that account and reppin manual.

What are the chances for my Pinterest account to be banned or sandboxed if same Pinterest account is login with 2 different ips.
