Obtaining a username from an inactive account

Hey all

I know this is a long shot, but there's a seemingly inactive account (eyeballing it for the past year or so, no extra followers/following/etc) that has a username I'm looking for. It's not some crazy common name, or a sought-after 3 character name, so I've been having bad luck looking for any possible account squatters. Is there any other way to obtain that username? I sent a few emails to Instagram but I doubt it would get anywhere.

If you have an ad account and you spend a big sum, you have access to what they call the apac contact center, then you can ask for inactive accounts

Don't know mate, but you can also buy access to the panel from people that have an ad account with the required expenses amount. it's just a link and an ad account number to put in the form.

You can get access without expending a big sum, you have to ask someone who has access to it to give you the link and grant you access

Well, that's smart! Kinda risky, tho.
Only if you trust the person because, they could snag the desired username for themselves.
So, trust above all. Then business

Any idea how much you would need to spend on IG ads in order to have access to that form? I'm currently investing in Google ads and I dont mind investing in Instagram ads because I also want a username, and the guy that has my username has never posted and is obviously a fake account.

I'm a newbie and can't PM but If you could reply on this thread on how much you'd need to spend that would be great ! Also, if I invest in ads will that make my instagram have a higher chance of getting verified?

No. If you just report the account instagram will not take the account down. You need to invest in ads and actually have a Buisness
